overall, the sex is great but the problem is that you have to listen to the whole thing to get any. horrible book! dont bother because there is not enough sex to make up for a lousy story and the main female character is an idiot!
I enjoyed DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, but am sorry to say but this book is horribly written and exasperatingly boring. There is no skill in it. It seems as though Brown took the outline to DaVinci Code and then filled in the details but didn't have as much to say in this book. So this story has a lot of the same things said over and over and over by each character. At the end, I was wondering whether or not anyone would really care about what Malach was doing(sp? listening rather than reading makes it hard to spell the guy's name). And the CIA? Please!
I thought that the author used the Langdon character out of character, if you will, a lot. For someone who was so willing to talk about the "real" symbolism of the Grail, he seemed to shut up pretty quickly about the Masons. And his incredulity at the end of what the Masons believed was very unbelievable.
I think I would have rather read the book because it would have taken me a day to read, rather than a couple of weeks to sit and listen through it.
Next time, Mr. Brown, please go with quality over quantity.
