  • The Five Love Languages: Men's Edition: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate

Married people experience love most strongly through five love languages - quality time, words of encouragement, gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. With thoughtfulness and a gee-whiz tone that works well in all his audios, Gary Chapman aims his insights at men who want more from marriage, as well as those who have more to give. He's a humble teacher, describing the five languages with satisfying examples from his counseling practice and framing his ideas as suggestions.

    "More of the Same"
    Overall

Although I LOVE the 5 love languages and think that Gary Chapman has a very engaging voice, this book was a waste of time and money for me. I bought it thinking it would go into more details specifically for men but found it to be a warmed over rehash of the 5 love languages book that I already have. So, if you have the 5 love languages, save your money on this book, it won't shed any new light for you. If you have never read the F.L.L. by all means do so.

  • Think and Grow Rich The 21st Century Edition

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 45 mins)

Success is not an accident, it's a habit. Think and Grow Rich is where that habit begins. Throughout this inspirational masterpiece, which has influenced men and women on every continent, Hill gives examples and detailed analysis of how hundreds of exceedingly wealthy people earned and maintained their fortunes.

Darvin says: "Note: "21st Century Edition""
"Editor's Comments Make This Book Beyond Boring"
    Overall

Be careful when you purchase this book. It is not the original, unedited version. This is a hard book to listen to because every few minutes there are "editors comments" trying to explain to you why Hill said what he said based on what people knew at the time. The Editor seems especially worried that Hill's use of the terms "men," "God," and "sex drive" are going to upset people, and therefore goes to great length to continually make this book "politically correct" by inserting comments every few paragraphs. This is very annoying to try to listen to. If you think you will like hearing "this is the end of the editor's comments" about a thousand times, by all means buy this. Personally, I would not have purchased this audio book if I had realized what 21st Century Edition meant. I recommend that you find the original, untouched version if you want to actually get something out of this book, and I suggest to the editors that if they have so many opinions about Hill's writing, they should write their own book and leave a great work like this alone.

  • How to Satisfy a Woman Every Time - and Have Her Beg for More!

    • UNABRIDGED (2 hrs and 26 mins)

    • Narrated By Naura Hayden

The genesis of this work is interviews Naura Hayden conducted with close to 500 women through which she learned that most had faked an orgasm during sex at some point in their lives, and that 60% of them faked orgasm every time they had sex. Hayden realized what these women, and their men - needed was not another fancy sex manual full of complicated positions, but a simple, straightforward work with real advice.

    Michael says: "Such a disappointment"
    "Not worth the money"
    Overall

If you are looking for a book that will teach you how to be a better lover, this is not it. There is some good information presented but the simplistic "technique" of soft stimulation and incremental penetration of the clitoris is not the answer to all sexual problems. The author talks more about nutrition and religion than actual sexual technique. I wish I had my nine bucks back.
