This series is an amazing series but this is by far the best. I could not stop listening. The characters become even more real and I laughed non stop. There are so many twists and turns that you may feel dizzy but in the best way possible. Don't miss out! Download it!!!!

The entire book was listening to a whiney sorority girl. The only interesting part was the last ten minutes.

The woman who narrates the Kim Harrison Rachel Morgan series would have made this less painful to listen to.

The story had so much potential, but didn't go anywhere. The main characters had potential but did nothing with it.

This book is recommended for 12 year olds and above but it also appeals to the young woman we are or have been. We go through all the troubles and trials with Alanna and end up cheering and shouting her on. If you have not read any books by Tamora Pierce I recommend you start with this series and go from there but if you are willing to be confused about people mentioned that are unknown to you, you can start anywhere. I highly recommend this book, but above all the author. Please give her a try, her books get better and better and are all highly addictive. Enjoy!

I have heard a lot about these books and tried the first one and loved it. I got the second one, thinking it wouldn't be as good..... and it was! I am now totally addicted and am going slowly mad waiting for my credits so I can find out what happens to Sookie next. I love the narrator and I'm glad she is southern, it makes Sookie real.
