I love this book. Many ideas and memorable stories to help deal with daily stumbling blocks. His voice is soothing and his story telling funny and heartwarming. I felt better the moment I started listening. If you aren't a faith based soul you'll still find many helpful tips you can use everyday.

How do you keep the people you care about safe from enemies you can’t remember? Ten years ago, Nate Garrett awoke on a cold warehouse floor with no memory of his past and the only clues to his identity were a piece of paper with his name on it and a propensity toward magic. Now he’s a powerful sorcerer and a successful thief for hire, but it turns out that those who stole his memories aren’t done with him yet. When they cause a job to go bad, threatening a sixteen-year-old girl, Nate swears to protect her.

This story is a little hard to catch on to at first. The author takes you back in forth in time. So keep your brain in top condition. But I loved it. I found the story extremely entertaining and I even found myself talking to the characters as I listened. Like "Run", "Hit Him" and so on. I really loved listening and the narrator did a wonderful job of pulling me in. The English accent didn't hurt either. I'm a sucker for an accent.

Give it a try I think you will be more than pleasantly surprised.

Once I got used to the accent it turned out to be a really fun listen. Lots of twists and turns. Wish I had listened to Book 1 first. Have ordered Book 1 to listen to better late than never. The characters are very richly portrayed by the narration. Easy to pick up where you left off and get absorbed in the book each time you start listening.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend to any sci-fi enthusiast.

Once again I'm caught listening at lunch in the car and well after my break is over. I think I'm in love! I can't get enough of Harry and the crew. Always new and interesting twists in each installment and I can't wait to finish one installment and start the next. I guarantee you will become addicted. Clean fun listening. Won't kill any brain cells...but I won't grow any new ones either. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Highly recommend the full series so far!

The narration is always fun and full spirited. I thoroughly enjoy every listen...and am sure you will too!

I highly recommend! But don't start here...start at the beginning.

The humor and horror mixes perfectly. Read to perfection with all the little voice infections just right. I have loved every book I listen to in this series. Harry Dresden is the quiet wizard of Chicago with interesting friends and foes. You have to give the series a try. If you like well read humorous horror with a mysterious edge, you'll love The Dresden File Series. Blood Rites was just another turn in the ongoing story of Harry's interestingly dangerous life.

Why we think it’s a great listen: If you’ve ever loved a dog - or even patted a dog - this book, told from the perspective of man’s best friend, will tug at your heartstrings...and won’t let go until long after Welch performs the last word. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively and by listening very closely to the words of his master.

As soon as I started listening to this book I fell in love with Enzo. I listen in the car to and from work. As soon as I got home I started chatting up my own dogs.

What a great read from beginning to end. I laughed, I cried, and I got really mad. Brilliantly written and performed. I just can't say enough, I've loaned it to all my friends and recommended it to others. Get this book!!! You'll thank me!
