Dr. Philip C. Plait sets the record straight on many modern hoaxes and myths. Appalled that millions of Americans don't believe in the moon landing, or that an egg stands on its end only on the vernal equinox, Plait hilariously spills the truth and informs us of scientific inaccuracies in our everyday vernacular.

Captain John "Black Jack" Geary's legendary exploits are known to every schoolchild. Revered for his heroic "last stand" in the early days of the war, he was presumed dead. But a century later, Geary miraculously returns from survival hibernation and reluctantly takes command of the Alliance fleet as it faces annihilation by the Syndics.

Appalled by the hero-worship around him, Geary is nevertheless a man who will do his duty. And he knows that bringing the stolen Syndic hypernet key safely home is the Alliance's one chance to win the war. But to do that, Geary will have to live up to the impossibly heroic "Black Jack" legend.

Worm: The First Digital World War tells the story of the Conficker worm, a potentially devastating piece of malware that has baffled experts and infected more than twelve million computers worldwide. When Conficker was unleashed in November 2008, cybersecurity experts did not know what to make of it. Exploiting security flaws in Microsoft Windows, it grew at an astonishingly rapid rate, infecting millions of computers around the world within weeks.

What made the experience of listening to Life Without Limits the most enjoyable?

When you think about the obstacles Nick has to deal with you can't help but think how remarkable he is. You really get the feeling that there isn't much he can't do. He shares this infectious confidence and shows you ways to do it for yourself. Not just "Hey go do it" but here is what you need to do and it will take work and you are going to fall / fail but get up and learn from those failures.

Well worth the time and money!!

After nearly being killed in a gang attack, and almost killing one of his attackers, he was forced to reassess his relationship with violence. After writing down his experiences, Geoff discovered a flair for writing. This is the story of an ordinary man who faced his fears and took himself from bedsit to best seller but very nearly got killed on the way. Geoff Thompson is now the author of over 30 books, a stage play and a BAFTA winning short film.

Would you listen to Watch My Back again? Why?

Yes for a refresher on the life lessons and insight to real life violence.

What did you like best about this story?

The look at real life violence and how it really occurs.

What does Simon Trinder bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

You just have to love the British accent. Although an British to American dictionary would have been handy a few time :)

    Any additional comments?

Great book. I would really recommend it to young males say 16 to 28 years old. One for the life lessons it offers and two for the insights to real life violence. He shows you the steps that confirmations take on in real life. If you know the steps, you can avoid the dance.
