I had gotten this booked based on another listener's input, it is fun and quirky little book. Well written and research as all historical fiction should be. The jumping between Victorian England and Modern Times was handled well.
Look I get that the subject ids very Taboo but looking a this as an is erotic fantasy ,it is very hot fun.
This book is a lot of fun and is very imaginative. This may be one of the stranger books I have read but that said it fun. Characters may not be that deeply drawn but the whole idea of find out that there is a huge mystery under your feet over your head and in the walls is just really fun.
Let me say this still some of the erotic fiction I have encoutered. But in Miss Kitt's work not her best.
This is fun book. Not deep in away but just a good summer diversion. No character depth just a fun ride. So look for good ghost story try this one.
I am big a fan of Ms. Kitt and if you are too then this book is OK not her best, but if you are new to her work start with the Babysitting the B’s book. This is an afternoon delight compare to some of her others that are real 3 alarm fires when it comes to erotica.
If you are a fan of the whole MHI world then you already have this book so stop reading.
If you have not read Monster Hunter International, then don’t start here. Start with 1st book then if you become a fan like me you will buy this book. Now talking to other fans to me this is the weakest of the book so far.
Very well done historical mystery, not as good as the Alienist, so start there but if you want more after reading Alienist look no further.
I bought this with the idea that it would be richer than the TV show and have more background etc. Not the case, TV show seems to have been faithful to the book so the book left me flat. Sorry. Books usually out do the movie or TV show (think of any S. King movie vs. the book) but not here.
I am a big fan of erotic literature and this one is one of the best. Very hot and very graphic as all her writing is, but if you are looking for something to get your blood up, look no further…
When a sat a listened to this massive book, what struck me is how timeless it is. It is not just an excellent almost journalistic view of the war in Europe , but, if looked based on the issues we face around to the US and the world, it also a cautionary tale for our times
