Yes, because he is a well-noted biographer. That being said, unless it is about a subject in which I want to know the address of their spouse before marriage, I'll get the abridged version.

Hartmann is an incredible writer who knows his subjects well before attempting to write about them. He has a skill for taking a complex subject and explaining it in simple terms.
This is the book I recommend to people who haven't a clue about the world economic crises, they only know they are angry. This book lets them know at whom they should direct that anger.
