Seth Quinn is finally home. It's been a long journey. But a lot has changed in St. Christopher since he's been gone - and the most intriguing change of all is the presence of Dru Whitcomb Banks.

Rina Lazarus and her husband, LAPD Homicide Lieutenant Peter Decker, are shocked by an outrage that cuts close to the spiritual heart of their family. Rina's small storefront synagogue has been desecrated with anti-Semitic graffiti and grisly Nazi death camp photographs. The alleged perpetrator is 17-year-old Ernesto Golding, a "rich kid" obsessed with haunting suspicions about the origins of his Polish paternal grandfather.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Forgotten to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio since my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be and I can listen while I work. that's a big PLUS for me. This is a good series.

It's frustrating for local law enforcement to come up against a piece of scum like Newton Glover. He's dirty as hell, everyone knows that - breaks into and vandalizes his neighbors' homes; cheats and steals from everyone; folks suspect he deals drugs and porn. He's even killed a man and gotten away with it. He gets away with all of it, hinting that he has a secret government background and that he's "protected" by the Powers That Be. Glover may finally have gone too far.

Would you listen to Surrogate Evil again? Why?

They (Aimee and David) wrote a series a few years ago the Ella Clah Series, it was excellent this is just OK, if you like Vampire type books it's interesting.. but personally I liked the characters in the Ella Clan series a lot more.I purchased this one when it first came out but don't know yet if I will purchase the others in this series.. I did enjoy the Narrator Kevin Foley, he has a pleasant voice and it was easy to listen to.. I wish they would put the Ella Clan series in audio, I for one would buy that series right away.

Award-winning author Lori Copeland has published dozens of romances and inspirational novels. A Case of Bad Taste, set in a small Arkansas town, brims with homespun humor and unforgettable characters. When a series of break-ins shakes up the town, novelist Maude Diamond spots fresh material for her next book. A crook is sneaking into people’s houses - and redecorating them!

    Kat says: "Whiny, preachy, dissappointing"

Would you try another book from Lori Copeland and/or Cristine McMurdo-Wallis?

I will read the ones I have as I like inspirational books but these are classified as mystery's and it's not a typical mystery. At times I felt the plot dragged a bit. there were spots of humor and "real life experiences" that were realistic.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lori Copeland again?

    maybe

What aspect of Cristine McMurdo-Wallis’s performance would you have changed?

    she was pretty good

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    no

    Any additional comments?

Maybe move it to fiction not mystery series

What she was doing was immoral, illegal, and could easily get her killed - but Troy Bennett wasn't apologizing to anyone. She'd been caught red-handed in the middle of a felony and she couldn't have picked a more dangerous man to be holding her fate in his hands. Not that straitlaced businessman Dallas Cameron intended to turn her over to the law. He had far more devious intentions for the sexy cat burglar.

A little different than Kay Hooper's normal books but still good
I am a big Kay Hooper fan and have read all of the Bishop-Special Crimes Unit Novels. This is totally different, but I still enjoyed the reaction between the characters.
