It's humankind versus a race of machines bent on harvesting organic life in this second official novel based on the BioWare video game.

If you are a Mass Effect fan you are gonna love this book, it is best read after finishing the first ME game and book and before playing Mass Effect 2 (there are some references in the game to the events of the book)...

Even though the stories aren't very important to the main plot of the ME games it's still awesome and even better that way because it shows you how much the ME universe can be expanded on and makes you wish for entire series like this book...

10/10 for the writing, 9/10 for the narrating (it's kinda awkward when the guy imitates female or child voices)

I'm surprised no one reviewed this yet, I've had this book on my wishlist for a few months (dunno how it got there in the first place) and 2 weeks ago I decided why not and I'm glad I did...

I bought this book after I just finished "Insurgent", the second book of "Divergent", and I must say I liked Fever Crumb alot more than both those books and even Hunger Games, what I like most about it is the no cheesy love scenes and emotional complications that spam half of the book, I grew very fond of Fever and can't wait to read more of her in the second book "A Web of Air" and the yet to be released third.

If you liked young adult books like Maze Runner and Hunger Games, you'll likely enjoy this book too, Reeve has done an awesome job in both writing and narrating this book.

The second novel set in the Old Republic era and based on the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic ramps up the action and brings listeners face-to-face for the first time with a Sith warrior to rival the most sinister of the Order’s Dark Lords: Darth Malgus, the mysterious, masked Sith of the wildly popular “Deceived” and “Hope” game trailers. Malgus brought down the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in a brutal assault that shocked the galaxy....

If you enjoyed "Star Wars The Old Republic Fatal Alliance" you'll enjoy Deceived just as much, it's a different author, but the same awesome style, excellent narration and epic plot...

Quite unlike anything I've read so far, I've listened to the demo and have no idea what mysterious force made me get it (no, wait I do, it's the sale)

But in any case if you're up for something different and this book is on sale again get it but don't hold me liable...:P

Representatives of both the Republic and the Sith Empire are present, along with a Jedi Padawan sent to investigate, a disenfranchised trooper drummed out of the Republic’s elite Blackstar Squad, and a mysterious Mandalorian with a private agenda.

Not much more to say, the story is epic, it starts off slow yes but that's because it has to introduce a few characters at first but when the story starts to climb it never stops until the end...

Marc Thompson is a gift to the Star Wars fandom, his performance is flawless, the fact that he has done dozens of Star Wars audiobooks makes me wanna read them all...

Thomas knows that Wicked can't be trusted, but they say the time for lies is over, that they've collected all they can from the Trials and now must rely on the Gladers, with full memories restored, to help them with their ultimate mission. It's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test. What Wicked doesn't know is that something's happened that no Trial or Variable could have foreseen. Thomas has remembered far more than they think. And he knows that he can't believe a word of what Wicked says. The time for lies is over.

This book doesn't need a review to tell you that you should read it, if you've read Maze Runner and Scorch Trials you don't want to stop, all I can say is feel free to expect the same awesome performance from Mark Deakins and the same familiar writing of Dashner, weather it's an awesome ending or disappointing anti-climax that's for you to decide...

    Btw, there's a prequel coming...=D

Reading about each of the suspect's lives you sometimes get lost and forget what book your reading, but eventually when everything starts connecting you realize what a buatiful story it is...

I downloaded an old game from my childhood called Supaplex (remade as WinPlex) and played it while listening to this book, awesome experience...

Hannah's voice explains that there are 13 reasons she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out why.

The story is great, but what is fantastic about this book is the narration, they could've just hired some guy or girl to just read the book into a microphone and get away with it, but they didn't, you can see how much care and work is put in this narration from chapter 1, both voices (Joel Johnstone and Debra Wiseman) do an excellent job portraying their characters, and it feels like you are listening to the tapes in the book exactly how they are meant to be...

Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end. No more puzzles. No more variables. And no more running. Thomas was sure that escape meant he and the Gladers would get their lives back. But no one really knew what sort of life they were going back to. In the Maze, life was easy... until Teresa triggered the end. In the world outside the Maze, however, the end was triggered long ago. Burned by sun flares and baked by a new, brutal climate, the earth is a wasteland....

Definitely the awesomest series I've read so far, it manages to live up to it's predecessor and more, it's one of the greatest stories ever read by one of the greatest narrators ever, can't wait for the third book to come out, I'd kill them if they let anyone but Mark Deakins narrate it...XD XD
