A great deal of suspense, which I think is appropriate for a submarine story.

Depends on my options... I have never heard so many thickly accented characterizations in one book! J. Charles wrote the book on drawl!

Typical Prichard. Voice characterizations don't have a lot of range, but if you speed it up, it's pleasant enough.

The strength of the story carries the overall performance, fortunately. The additional political and financial details may bog this one down if you just want Clancy action. If that's what you really want, go ahead and get the abridged version instead.

I love all things Star Wars, and I've listened to every audiobook available, but Marc Thompson makes the difference. His ability to audibly define every single character is superb!
