I liked the story and the characters but the narrator spoiled this for me. She read too fast and with no emotion. I'm glad to see the narrator for the next two books in the series is different so I'll try the next one. Cute romantic story with no surprises.

Dallas cop Gray Montgomery is on a mission: find the guy who killed his partner and bring him to justice. So far, he's found a link between the killer and Faith - and if Gray has to get close to her to catch the killer, so be it. Faith is sweet and feminine, everything Gray wants and desires in a woman, but he suspects she's playing games. No way would she allow a man to call the shots in their relationship. Or would she? Faith sees in Gray the strong, dominant man she needs, but he seems determined to keep her at a distance.

This was a little over the top for me and not too believable. The sex scenes were hot between Gray and Faith but I could have done without the sex club.

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

In Let Me Be The One, the brand-new book in Bella Andre's New York Times and USA Today best-selling series about the Sullivan family, an unexpected friends-to-lovers romance might not only turn out to be so much hotter than anything bad-boy pro-baseball-player Ryan Sullivan has ever known...but much, much sweeter, too. When Vicki Bennett saved Ryan Sullivan's life as a teenager, it was the beginning of a close friendship that never wavered despite her failed marriage to someone else and Ryan's well-earned reputation as a ladies man.

This series is fun and lighthearted but there's not much story here. I've listened to them all and will continue to see what happens to all the Sullivans. But, as the series progresses the stories get shorter with less plot development.
