"How not to read a book"
A good story read by an awful narrator. I am confused, is he reading the names of towns in an attempt to reproduce a medieval sound or is it that he doesn't now the correct pronunciation. I have been an avid user of Audible and as I am English I felt the author was let down badly in this effort.
"Tom Cotcher as Rebus, a great book"
This was my first Rebus story and i now feel that for the rest to be as good as this was, they must all be read by Tom Cotcher.
"Fantastic"
Tom Cotcher is Rebus, great story, as good as if it was read by Rebus himself
"It's all in the Reading"
This is a great Rebus story, however, having already heard other Rankin books read by Tom Cotcher, who is fantastic, Ewan Stewart just misses the mark. Ewan;s reading would have been fine, but the quality of Tom;s rendition is so good, I now wish Tom were given the task of rerecording all the Rebus stories.
"Good to see the tradition continues"
I have read Hornblower, Kent and O'Brien, and now we have Russell. A very good story, which makes you hungry for the next in what we hope will be a long series of new exciting stories to equal "Under Enemy Colors".
