The biggest threat to the United States comes not from abroad but from within. This is the provocative, timely, and unexpected message of Council on Foreign Relations President Richard N. Haass’ Foreign Policy Begins at Home. A rising China, climate change, terrorism, a nuclear Iran, a turbulent Middle East, and a reckless North Korea all present serious challenges. But U.S. national security depends even more on the United States addressing its burgeoning deficit and debt, crumbling infrastructure, second-class schools, and outdated immigration system

Alex says: "Fantastic social and political commentary"
"Please Refund the credit I wasted on this book."

Would you try another book from Richard Haass and/or Eric Brooks?

The content is fine, the performance is not. I can not begin to guess why the narrator sounds like Forrest Gump if he hadn't gone to college.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Furthermore, this review format is an insult. We are all adults here and can format our own reviews.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

His voice was frustrating, but not as frustrating as these questions

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Nausea

    Any additional comments?

c',mon. These questions are silly. I just want to advise other audible customers to listen before purchasing, the narrator makes this un-listenable and a refund is in order.

Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

Jonnie says: "Very clear and understandable"
    "please read"

Americans are blinded by corporate American propaganda. This book will help to lift the veil... Allow yourself to peek behind the curtain... your life will improve from exposure to truth.... bless us all on our path to the freedom that was intended for us.... cursed be those who manipulate the masses for their financial gain..
