    Any additional comments?

Great addition to IAD story line. I enjoy the way this story integrates and blends events with the other books in the series. But for those uninitiated into the IAD world, it's still a good read. Keep them coming....

With the legends and lore of Ireland running through his blood, falconer Connor O’Dwyer is proud to call County Mayo home. It’s where his sister, Branna, lives and works, where his cousin, Iona, has found true love, and where his childhood friends form a circle that can’t be broken. A circle that is about to be stretched out of shape - by a long-awaited kiss. Meara Quinn is Branna’s best friend, a sister in all but blood. Her and Connor’s paths cross almost daily, as Connor takes tourists on hawk walks and Meara guides them on horseback across the lush countryside.

What disappointed you about Shadow Spell?

The narration was so bad I had to stop listening.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Duty

How did the narrator detract from the book?

His accent may be authentic but his reading was poor.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Shadow Spell?

Didn't get past the Third Chapter. I will purchase the ebook and read it myself because I enjoyed the first book in the Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy.

The story begins in 1962. On a rocky patch of the sun-drenched Italian coastline, a young innkeeper, chest-deep in daydreams, looks out over the incandescent waters of the Ligurian Sea and spies an apparition: a tall, thin woman, a vision in white, approaching him on a boat. She is an actress, he soon learns, an American starlet, and she is dying. And the story begins again today, half a world away, when an elderly Italian man shows up on a movie studio's back lot - searching for the mysterious woman he last saw at his hotel decades earlier.

    Pasquale, both of them!

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Pasquale and Dee were in the cave watching the light over the paintings!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I wanted to stretch it out as long as I could!

Meet Jake. A bit on the elderly side (he turns 201 in March), but otherwise in the pink of health. The nonstop sex and exercise he’s still getting probably contribute to that, as does his diet: unusual amounts of flesh and blood (at least some from friends and relatives). Jake, of course, is a werewolf, and with the death of his colleague he has now become the only one of his kind.

Great listen. I laughed and cried. Jake is my kind of wolf. Jake eclipses all Jakes that have come before.

To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark-Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife. Zephyra.

I have every Dark Hunter Series book. Loved this book, but the narrator was horrible. I will not purchase another book narrated by Scott Brick.
