Eveline Armstrong is fiercely loved and protected by her powerful clan, but outsiders consider her "touched." Beautiful, fey, with a level, intent gaze, she doesn't speak. No one, not even her family, knows that she cannot hear. Content with her life of seclusion, Eveline has taught herself to read lips and allows the outside world to view her as daft. But when an arranged marriage into a rival clan makes Graeme Montgomery her husband, Eveline accepts her duty -unprepared for the delights to come.

If you could sum up Never Seduce a Scot in three words, what would they be?

    Great Love Story

What did you like best about this story?

The characters are wonderful. So fully developed and likeable - even the ones you wanted to dislike.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kirsten does a great job narrating this tale. Her wonderful accent lends a reality to this story that most do not.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book played on my emotions and I laughed out loud - got frustrated and cried. So many twists and turns and just a great escape from a very long, cold winter!

    Any additional comments?

Definitely worth the read...will come back to it again, and will purchase the sequels.

After traveling through time in Shadow of Night, the second book in Deborah Harkness's enchanting series, historian and witch Diana Bishop and vampire scientist Matthew Clairmont return to the present to face new crises and old enemies. At Matthew's ancestral home at Sept-Tours, they reunite with the cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches - with one significant exception. But the real threat to their future has yet to be revealed, and when it is, the search for Ashmole 782 and its missing pages takes on even more urgency.

Would you listen to The Book of Life again? Why?

I am going to read this again...immediately. I enjoyed this as much as the other two and haste that the series is done. There is still so much more to tell.

What did you like best about this story?

Dianna and Matthew's relationship continues to grow and evolve so beautifully in this last book...I couldn't stop listening.

Have you listened to any of Jennifer Ikeda’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I just loved the narration and how wonderfully she told the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Dianna rescuing Matthew - the ties that bind them together...touching and beautiful.

    Any additional comments?

I so hope there will be another series...I am dying to know what happens with the twins...how they grow and mature and the future of "creatures". Well done!!!

What did you love best about A Dangerous Fortune?

I loved the twists and turns of this story. My husband and I listened to this on our way back from Georgia to Maine. We both stated several times that the author must have had a timeline that stretched across their home, just to keep track of the twists and turns.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Dangerous Fortune?

This is a book that I will remember as the one book which kept me guessing throughout, amazing twists and turns.

    Any additional comments?

While I almost gave up, early into the book, I'm so glad I didn't. I was sad to see this story end.

Where does Glass Houses rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was a fun read and I enjoyed it very much.

What other book might you compare Glass Houses to and why?

This ranks high with the other young adult series I've read. The author captures the feelings of a teenager caught between " being and becoming".

Which character – as performed by Cynthia Holloway – was your favorite?

I love the character of Michael who overcomes his own brush with the town vampires and makes the best of his situation.

    Any additional comments?

I didn't care for the ending and how it tried to set you up for the next book. Instead of making me want to read the next in the series, it left me feeling, " trying to hard", and left me off the next book totally.

I enjoyed the story line and will actually purchase the next one in the series.

What did you like best about this story?

The paranormal aspect kept me intrigued.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narration of I the children's voices drove me crazy...too whiny

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

this book wasn't one I wanted to hear all at once...but instead kept me on the treadmill all week..

    Any additional comments?

Not one of my favorite "Nora" series but I enjoyed the listen and will put purchase the next book in the series

Nora Roberts lives up to all expectations in this book of the trilogy. I couldn't wait to read the next one.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved all things gardening related.

What does Susie Breck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Susie did a great job with voices and accents. I enjoyed listening to her southern twang.

    Any additional comments?

This is one of those trilogies I will read over and over. Each book in this series stands alone, and you don't need to read them all...BUT, each one builds on the ghostly presence and tells her story perfectly to the end. I was left wanting more!
