"Hope there's another book coming"
The continued love story between Lena and Ethan.
The commitment of friendships and love.
Yes. This one is awesome.
Yes.
I loved the story and how the narrator made it come to life.
"Rich Full Bodied Story"
Yes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it has set the foundation for the following book. To me, this book not only speaks to an individual's struggle to understand oneself but also looks at our differences with others. How love and understanding can bridge our differences even when we don't necessarily want to. To me it shows our flaws, vulnerabilities and compassion and at times humor. I particularly enjoyed references to history and how this is expanded on in the second book in the trilogy.
I had two favorite characters; Diana and Matthew. Not hard to imagine since they are the main characters in the story. I can identify with Diana trying to understand herself and at the same time explore her budding relationship with Matthew. Matthew who has lived for centuries knows what he wants and is assertive in pursuing it as well as being protective.
I loved Isabo in this story. She is righteous in her beliefs and makes no apology for herself or her actions. I loved the accents Jennifer performs for all of the characters.
Absolutely.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this book and it has made me look forward to the following books in the trilogy. I would recommend this book for reading.
