What an incredible, pure, story of good prevailing, evil defeated, heroism. It goes chapter after chapter then the gratuitous - yet mild - profanity. Clive could write forever without a cuss word and it would not affect the pure entertainment of his books.
I read some of Tom Clancy's Op Center Books. They were excellent and did not contain the unbridled profanity that Dead or Alive does! Why, Why, Why does Tom Clancy (and other writers) insist on uses these horrble words? Can't they come up with other text and still keep the reader's interest? If not, that's REALLY sad. I wasted a credit on this book as I stopped reading it when the umpteenth F-Bomb dropped. I am finished with Tom Clancy until I can confirm that he has written a book without all that garbage!
I will never read another book read by this reader. His intonation - or lack of it - ruins the book. Once you hear Scott Brick, you're spoiled for anyone else, especically J. Charles.
