A girl who believes trust can be misplaced, promises are made to be broken, and loyalty is an illusion. A boy who believes truth is relative, lies can mask unbearable pain, and guilt is eternal. Will what they find in each other validate their conclusions, or disprove them all?

Would you listen to Easy again? Why?

Yes I would. I felt it was easily relate-able. Anyone who's had their heart broken can connect with the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

The love story between the two. Awkward in their own ways but yet found wonderful things about each other.

What does Tara Sands bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The sense of an naive woman and at times the sense of innocents she brings to the character. A strong yet weak person.

    Any additional comments?

It took awhile to get into for me. But once it started going and you started to really know the characters I couldn't put it down. Overall an enjoyable Sunday afternoon kind of read.

Stealth. Gorgon. Regenerator. Cerberus. Zzzap. The Mighty Dragon. They were heroes. Vigilantes. Crusaders for justice, using their superhuman abilites to make Los Angeles a better place. Then the plague of living death spread around the globe. Despite the best efforts of the superheroes, the police, and the military, the hungry corpses rose up and overwhelmed the country. The population was decimated, heroes fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland like so many others.

Would you listen to Ex-Heroes again? Why?

Not really. It covered everything I needed to hear. No need to revisit.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting had to have been each individual character. How Peter Clines took each character and flashed back to before the outbreak and understand their powers, their feelings and thoughts on what was happening to them.

The least interesting was....well really nothing.

Have you listened to any of Jay Snyder and Khristine Hvam ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first with these two narrators. I enjoyed them both. Good range of emotions and between the characters they played.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. This is not a book to be listened to every once in a while. Too many details that you might forget in between reads.

    Any additional comments?

Overall I liked it. I like zombies and who doesn't like superheros. I liked how Peter Clines incorporated both and the story they came up with. Great attention to detail that you can see right in front of you Cerberus crushing a skull and the greyish ooze spilling out. So far I've enjoyed Peter Clines.

    Oh gosh I couldn't say.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Darker to be better than the print version?

I don't have time to sit and read a book. This is my best option. I loved it. I feel you can really get into it, lost almost.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Darker?

THE WHOLE SECOND BOOK! I had something going on in my life that seemed to mirror what was happening (to some degree you know). My boyfriend and I were experiencing everything and I would tell him about the book and he would say "are they following us?" I love it!!

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There was parts of emotion that I think she nailed. She really brought that out to the listeners.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Every emotion you can think of! This book was my life the whole way through. Timing for me was perfect!

    Any additional comments?

    Absolutely love it!

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Would you consider the audio edition of 14 to be better than the print version?

Yes I would. I don't have time to sit and read a book. The only difficult thing I found about this one was I got sucked in and found my self sitting there with my mouth open or gasping. Ray Porter did a FANTASTIC job at narrating.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I'm going to have to say Veek. She reminded me of myself. Her sass and dry humor. Although what caught my attention at first was Nate's character. He was/is like me. Hates his job, no money in the bank and no plans for the future. I was routing the whole time for Veek and Nate work together. Don't want to give too much away

Have you listened to any of Ray Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first time listening to Ray Porter. If any of his other performances are like this one, I'm in!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Funny you say that....I was thinking, wow this can be a really good movie. The tag line would be "Sometimes the things behind closed doors are better left that way."

    Any additional comments?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Kept me on my toes the entire time. Found myself gasping and yelling NO or even crying at moments. I'm glad I read some of this reviews, it was the best choice I made. Bravo Peter Clines, bravo!

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades of Grey the most enjoyable?

I didn't really like Anna in this first book. She whined about EVERYTHING. Really slow start but overall I enjoyed the book.

Would you recommend Fifty Shades of Grey to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes I would. Like i said it was slow start but once I got to the second book I'm really enjoying it. The "romance" made me blush and I'm not a vanilla kind of person. I really got into it!

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I liked the narrator. I think she portrayed all the characters very well. That's exactly what I would have thought Anna sounded like.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

HOT! lol I bet you get that a lot. It did make me cry at times. More because it pertained to what happened to be going on in my life at the time (I hate it when that happens). I liked the relationship and complexity of Christian and Anna. A lot of firsts.

    Any additional comments?

I'm in love this this series! First book I've read in a long time and I'm glad I decided to start back up with this one.
