The series continues and keeps getting better!!! Well worth the credit and if you haven't read any from Nalini Singh - take the leap, you won't be disappointed! I liked that although this one is still linked to the continuing battle with the psy counsel, you learned more about the different changeling packs. Jed and Brenna are both stubborn and when they finally give in to each other it definitely creates fireworks in the bedroom. Love it!! I beg that you keep adding the rest of this series!!!

This definitely has a Buffy (The Vampire Slayer) hooks up with Spike feel. The beginning seemed very childish, although the scene and topics weren't. Midway it did seem to get better. Narrator won't be on my favorite list but she's not on my avoid list either. Will give book 2 a chance to change my opinion.

This series is wonderful! The characters are so well written you're able to loose yourself in them. There is also just the right amount of action and romance. Whether characters or plot twists, I was never left feeling it/they were added as an afterthought - which can often happen in paranormal books. I'm hooked until the end.

I love this book (and series)! Mercy is as strong and independent as Riley, which causes fireworks to ignite both in and out of the bedroom. I really hope Audible adds Book 7, 8 & 9 soon so we can have the complete series!!!!!

Dorian and Ashaya were a perfect match in every way! If you're looking for a great paranormal romance series, look no further! This series has the perfect balance of a created paranormal world with the right amount romance (and steamy scenes).

Clay and Talin's story... WOW!! Nalini is positively an amazing author. Even though this wasn't a psy to changeling match, Nalini brings the human, psy and all the changeling worlds together throughout the book. The romance between Clay and Talin is hot and everything you hope for them!

Another great book and series! I'm officially hooked on this series and will purchase each one. So Audible - keep adding them!!!! I love it when the tough, stubborn man gets brought to his knees by a woman who is seen as weak on the surface. Angela Dawe does an awesome job distinguishing all the voices.

This is an awesome new series and author. Nalini creates a believable paranormal world that pulls you in and keeps you intrigued from start to finish. I would compare her writing to Christine Feehan or Gena Showalter - the steamy scenes aren't as long or graphic as theirs but they are steamy and are in appropriate spots.

I was happily surprised by this book and purchased book 2 right way. This book reminded me of a cross between Gena Showalter, Lara Adrian and Christine Feehan. She kept a great balance throughout the book by building the action, the paranormal world they live in and the romance. The sex scenes are hot and steamy! There is nothing I hate more than when authors write the big build-up to the romance and sex, then leave you to fill in the blanks. In this Larissa Ione did not disappoint - hot, steamy and wicked!!! Hey Audible - you need to get the remaining 4 books of this series and her others ASAP!
