"Very Bold and Sharp. Fresh thoughts, no nonsense"
I really enjoyed the quick wit, and the metaphors used to convey this enough is enough message.
I love the way Greg abandons the PC excess in favor of common sense. Case in point, his take on the Mosque to be in NYC. The ideas of a gay bar next door really put things into perspective and effectively shut the mouths of the so called tolerant.
Not especially, I much prefer that the Author read his own work. I think Greg would have done a much better job relaying the spirit of the message. Also the narrator mispronounced some words and some people's names, not very impressive.
Gutfeld's use of metaphors to convey the logical absurdities in this over PC'd world.
I cannot wait for the next one.
"Great book, I am now hooked on Harry."
I would definitely recommend this book to all those who love a great mystery.
I enjoy the depth that Connelly gives to his character(s). Harry Bosch is a terrifically burdened, troubled Cop with a mission. I found myself unable to stop listening, in my desire to get to the end. As I write this I am almost finished with book 4 in the series.
Dick Hill absolutely makes this as good as it is. His reading/voice range is excellent. I love listening to anything he's done. And as a matter of fact I will listen to everything he's done.
I usually don't care for many Vietnam war references, but these truly gave the character depth and purpose for me.
I cannot wait to get through the whole series.
"A timeless Christian Classic."
Time very well spent. I have read this book many times over the years and I always get some new insight, each time.
I so enjoy the allegory, it sure makes it easy to draw some real life applications.
Classic English novel read with a Classic English accent, how proper.
Yes I enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks audible, you have surely scratched an itch, with this business model. I travel around eight hundred miles a week in my car, and I don't know what I would do without these books to help pass the time.
