While staying true to the Foundation trilogy this has the added benefit of tying in some of Asimov's other books. Just great!
This story is much more political than many of the others in the series. It also jumps around a lot between a number of different storylines. Still it's a worthy addition to the Honor series.
Strange and odd. The recording quality makes it hard to distinguish voices. Had a very hard time especially in the beginning before the story settled down.
I liked the tidbits of info, very useful. But the way it was delivered wanted to make me go to sleep.
Cute little mystery. Kind of gave away the murderer the first time they are mentioned. But fun none the less.
I'm always on the lookout for nice paranormal cozies. This had promise but needs some editing.
Took too long to get to the cottage. A lot about characters we'll never see again. Her landlord and apt manager.
Once we did get to the cottage the story was a bit choppy. OK overall but just average.
Nice little cozy. Kind of predictable but an OK listen. I'll probably continue with the series. Maybe it'll get better.
Honor is out of the battles for this one. Others are taking the war to the peeps.
This installment is the most tedious so far. There are some very nice sections, like teaching the tree cats to sign, the effects of the jump in technology, the assassination attempt. But it drags and parts.
Decent paranormal fun. The story has real promise. Retired demon hunter mom called back to service.
Could have been edited better and tightened up a bit. But mostly the lead could be a bit stronger. For somebody trained at the Vatican as a secret demon fighter she's kind of flighty.
Okay, I guess you have to suspend a lot of disbelief, Honor gets really lucky and everything just happens to go her way.
Still has a Harrington fan I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The action scenes were fun, and the character building for her mother and father and others was nice to have.
I'm a big Harrington fan. However, this book was probably my least favorite. It's a very good book, it explores some of the motivations behind some of the main characters.
Mostly though this book seems to be a link between a few of the other books. I think much of the story could have been shortened and included in the next book.
