While I like all the books in the series, this one is probably my favorite.
Wanderman's story is easy to relate to.
Pretty much like all the previous Jane/Half Moon Hollow Books. Still, just different enough to keep it interesting. It helped make sense of that Christmas story.
Obviously much of the innovation of the original story is gone, but this was a decent sequel. Fun and engaging.
Nice little cozy. A bit simplistic, not all the characters were well developed. It was very short, maybe if there were a few more pages, a bit more character development, it would have rated higher. What was there was good.
Fun little story. All the elements were there, but they didn't quite gel. Maybe the writing will improve for the latter books.
Not Molly's best, but witty enough to hold my attention. Worth a read if you have a couple of hours.
The overall plot was good. The humor was very good, especially the chapter starts. But the overly descriptive sex scenes really detracted from what otherwise is a very fun book. I always wonder if authors add this to attract a certain audience or if they don't believe in their story.
Not your average sleuth story. Grandmas take on a serious case in a funny way. Good basis for a nice series.
Cute. A bit over the top, but in good fun. Glad it's first in a series, looking forward to the next.
Another really good plot ruined by too much sex. It's one thing to throw in a sex scene to forward the plot, but this was just filler. Other than the sex and the wanting to jump each other all the time the plot had good promise. Decent characters and a nice twist. A little more effort in dialogue instead of lust and this could have rated much higher.
Great imagery, decent mystery. If you liked the others you'll like this too. Nice blend of mysticism, western, police, and detective.
