Yes. Good story, good voice acting which made a great tense book. The pacing was good and kept me on the edge of my earbuds. It left you just long enough to gasp for air before you dived back in.

The Cell by Stephen King and The Day of the triffids by John Wyndham. Similar premise as the cell with half the world turning against itself. It reminds me of day of the triffids because of the meteor shower.

I liked how he performed the bit players in this book it really made me feel like each one was different.

The Teresa Character was garbage. This book just seemed very schizophrenic/manic to me just jumping from one thing to another without really binding any of them together. The Characters never really developed or changed. It could use a little less comic book feel to it and use a dash more realism.

Bland, generic, clichéd, common, conventional, cornball, cornfed, corny, dull as dishwater, dumb, everyday, flat, hackneyed, ho hum, hokey, humdrum, insipid, mundane, old hat, ordinary, pabulum, pedestrian, platitudinous, square, stale, stereotyped, stock, stupid, tired, tripe, trite, unimaginative, unoriginal, vapid, watery, wishy-washy and just "Meh".

Yes because its hard to read during a commute

The beginning scenes with the mortuary and the hunt through the woods.

The coffee shop scene where the escaped zombie murder enters the starbucks and is left to your imagination mostly.

Should be a movie, Lead character was a little over the top at the end but what the hell I liked resident evil too.

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend and I have I enjoyed the characters, the plot and just dated feel of it. I know that's strange but I like being taken back to a different time period by reading old sci-fi like this, you can almost taste the polyester and hairspray. I also enjoyed the structure and the background of the aliens with their culture.

I just felt the book was just filler in between two covers. The main character I just couldn't get into, I enjoyed the abused housewife character that should of been more explored and centralized. This book just lacked something to me.

I would be wary of buying another one of John Ringo's books.

The beating of the RIGHT WING RHETORIC drum was too strong in this book. I'm a moderate conservative and some of his Ringo's views about the economy and how people act were just wrong. It also had a little too much of making every bad guy a pedophile a little too much for me. Plenty of bad people don't have to rape children to be evil. Cough *Rambo V* cough.

The battle of the iran depot was one of my favourite scenes.

Mini-Series told like

Great books, less politics.

This book is just "Fun". They have combined two of my childhood loves which were dinosaurs and WWII weaponry and made it into a adventure romp with no equal in recent memory. The book reminds me a bit of the The "Final Countdown" but with non of the moral questions about should we interfere in another peoples history. They have a destroyer and they are going to blow up some "Grick" Spanish galleons. Fun characters but a bit stereotypical, from the Wise captain to the gentle giant deck ape Sylvan. The characters do develope more as they hit the later books. In closing I have to say fun read and couldnt reccomend it more.

This book is more like a guideline or a instructional novel on survivalism. Parts of this book I enjoyed which is why I slogged through it, all the planning and some of the theories of what causes the collapse seem pretty good. The parts that disturb me are the crazy tea bag stuff like communist cannibals, raping UN troops and just some of the behaviors of people. Their was also the 45 minute rant on why you dont need a license to drive that just hurt my head. The book basically just ends with a tea bagger wet dream, which really disapoints me. I did enjoy the characters in the book and the planning stuff on electricity production and food production. So in closing I have listened to worst.
