From number-one New York Times best-selling authors Preston & Child, an all-new short story featuring Agent Pendergast, available only as an ebook and audio download. In New Orleans' French Quarter, the Tooth Fairy isn't a benevolent sprite who slips money under your pillow at night.... He's a mysterious old recluse who must be appeased with teeth - lest he extract retribution. When young Diogenes Pendergast loses a tooth, however, his skeptical older brother Aloysius is determined to put the legend to the test...with dire consequences.

Janels says: "Great Pendergast short story, don't use a credit"
    "I LOVE Preston and Child!"

Would you listen to Extraction again? Why?

It is a fun short story. I think it may become a halloween favorite!

Who was your favorite character and why?

One of my all time favorite fictional characters is Pendergast.

What does Rene Auberjonois bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

To me he brings Pendergast to life. When i read the books i hear his voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really. i felt it was pretty entertaining all the way thru. Of course the disappearance of the uncle was a great touch.

    Any additional comments?

I plan on sharing it with my grandkids when they are old enough~
