    Ugh. This is THE only problem I have with Audible! No copyright dates to let you know when this book was written. I recommend research BEFORE you download.

    This is a very good story if not a bit obvious at times but....

    This book is dated, ...1980. And this is the 3rd book of Koontz. Things like the phone "ringing and ringing and ringing" but a cop and a screenwriter don't have the sense to take it off the hook? Especially when they start making out....mmmm.

    The narrator does amazing voices and splits the characters up distinctively but I, (personal note here) hate when people pronounce their negative contractions like a high school girl. Didn't = did-dunt, couldn't = could-dunt,...

    AND in the third section, about 1/3 of the way in, the recording goes blank for about a minute. Don't know what that was about but I'm calling to get it resolved.
