Gregor and. Boots
For sure great story
This book is awesome but the war scenes and some scenes may not be for kids they are quite violent and descriptive. So this may be a no no if you don't let your kids watch violent bloody movies, it has good character development and it's been written in a typical suzanne Collins style. Good read
The first books was good it had a military theme but it somehow fit into the book without being overwhelming. This one takes it to the next level. About 60% of the book is about guns and explosives i.e. types, what they do and. how they work. Then there are lessons (disguised as conversations ) about battle techniques, army leadership techniques and styles, troop training....pretty much anything and everything related to guns, the army, soldiers and battles this also includes "lessons" in older fighting techniques. Add on to that 25% lessons in economics and what's left is character and story development that could have been done in 5 hours not 17. I am definately returning this book.
This was actually quite entertaining and funny but it took about 5 hours for the story to pick up and once it did it was fun. So if you can hand in there you won't be disappointed
It wasn't a bad story overall but it was a slooooooow start. Hope the next one will be a bit quicker
The story is a bit slow but it gets good once it picks up. Some of the characters are hard to relate to and it's also a bit gory in some parts but overall it's ok.
thats all i can say. The narrator does not help the story either and it just seems like a confusing story.
I could not put this book down. I has a great storyline and Trudi does a good job giving a picture to the world it is set in without being boring about it. Just downloading the next one now can wait for more.
