This audio book was amazing, wonderful, spectacular and just great. Firstly the content is really really good, the story on how he came to overcome lust, pornography, and marital infidelity is really good, the story is very well written, and it is narrated by the aughor himself, the person who lived it out... so it does not feel devoid of any emotion like a robot is talking, rather it is a very enjoyable listen as you listen and feel the emotions he felt through his voice...

I would easily buy it for a friend

  • Running for My Life: One Lost Boy's Journey from the Killing Fields of Sudan to the Olympic Games

Running for My Life is not a story about Africa or track and field athletics. It is about outrunning the devil and achieving the impossible: faith, diligence, and the desire to give back. It is the American dream come true and a reminder that saving one can help to save thousands more. Lopez Lomong chronicles his inspiring ascent from a barefoot lost boy of the Sudanese Civil War to a Nike sponsored athlete on the US Olympic Team. Though most of us fall somewhere between the catastrophic lows and dizzying highs of Lomong's incredible life, every reader will find in his story the human spark to pursue dreams that might seem unthinkable.

Definitely enjoyed the book. It is a very gripping story of overcoming huge obstacles and odds, about choosing to be optimistic and not dwell on negative experiences, and about faith in God.
