I would recommend this book to anyone interested in a good spy novel.
Rob did a fair job at differntiating the characters.
I think the editing needed improving. Repeated sentences and words were noticed of couple of times during the narration.
The Heist ranks fairly high among the audiobooks I have listened to so far. Good plot and interesting characters
I don't want to provide any spoilers but the negotiations was very brief but surprising
I would listen to George read the tax code or phone book and still enjoy him
I was very surprised at the negotiations. I thought the book would take a much different twist
This book was an interesting sequel.
I would try another book because I would like to see the characters continue to develop
He did a very good job of changing character voices. You can recognize each character by the voice he spoke
I have to agree with the other reviewers. George Guidall could read the phone book or tax codes and he would make it interesting. The story was interesting since it was about Mitch Raps beginning. It had some humorous parts as well as some excellent trills.
Yes. Only if they are dedicated to Christopher Moore's books. Otherwise I would pass on this one.
No; not unless they were dedicated to reading all of Christopher Moore's books. Listening to other of his books would be worth the time.
Euan did an excellent job at all the characters. He made a someone dry story much more interesting.
The book was not one of Christopher Moore's best. It had some humorous points but it was slow in developing and there was too much detail regarding the art.
If you like Angels and Demons and DaVinci Code then you will like this one as well
Nice story twist at the end. Makes you think.
3 minutes of nothing. A total waste of time
I don't know. Three minutes doesn't provide an opportunity to decide if the author is worth the time.
I don't have any idea
It was free
If you are a Red Sox or just a baseball fan then it will be very entertaining
Tito was the character best performed
I wish I had the time to listen to this in all one sitting. It would be worth the time.
A very interesting short story that evolved quickly and kept a good flow throughtout the story.
Yes I would try another book.
DD was the star.
I did listen to it all in one sitting. Long airplane ride with a good book.
The performance was excellent. Every character could be recognized. The story was a classic C. Moore. Lots of laughts with an interesting story. Plus a few twists.
Yes. Wish I had the opportunity to listern to it all in one sitting
The only negative is the music. The music between chapters and at the beginning of the book was annoying and distractin.
The story was excellent and the performance even better. I have become an Odd Thomas fan and will be listening to the rest of the series. The story was edgy yet light hearted which was a very refreshing combination.
The story was very fluid and each chapter raised the bar of anticipation and excitement.
David Baker's performance was excellent. He added a lot to the characters. I will be searching for other books by David Baker and listen to them as well.
It would be his soul mate. Her character added so much to the book.
