I had no expectations when I selected this book except that it would be fun and silly. I love time travel stories because I'm a kid at heart. And it did prove to be fun and silly, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. It helped me pass the time while waiting for the results of my biopsy.
This book was a breath of fresh air for me. The author and the narrator are a new experience, too. It's a different kind of mystery; a nice change from the usual murder story. I enjoyed watching the main character use research to resolve the problem. I'm looking forward to reading the others in the series.
I'm glad I picked this one up. I read it and enjoyed it and only put it down because I had to go to sleep.
I enjoyed this book. It was interesting to see how dedicated some people can be to family. The entire story was centered around family secrets and the lengths people will go to, to keep their family secrets. I'd recommend the book.
This one was slow moving and dull. I thought this woman would never get rescued. Too many unnecessary details.
Don't waste your time or money or credits on this one. It's long and very boring.
I have read all of the books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed every single one. This one was a great mystery that took me to a point where I thought I knew who the culprit was. Wrong.
It was very annoying to try to hear this book. No matter what listening device I tried, the sound was foggy. I even re-downloaded it thinking perhaps there was a problem when I downloaded it initially but nothing worked. Purchase it at your own listening peril.
As I was reading this book I constantly related it to Princess Diana, not realizing that there was in fact a Sisi in history. Surprising how their lives compared. The author did a good job holding my attention.
I liked this book. I continued to look forward to finding out "what happened" as I read through it. I don't know if anyone else noticed that the narrator pronounces the word "grimace" with a long "a". It really rubbed me the wrong way. It seemed that the word must have appeared at least 50 times in the book and I noticed each of the 50 times that she mispronounced it. And it wasn't because she's British because other British narrators pronounce it with a short "a". I tolerated the book anyway because of the good story.
As usual, I couldn't put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a very good story and I especially liked that she didn't draw it out for several more hours.
