Five Stars: This story about these brothers just get better with each book. My review is short and simple. You just want to know whether or not you should listen to this audible.... right? Of course I'm right, because that is all I would want to know. If you like reading romance stories without all the cat and mouse chase, this is the story to read. Gray the male character in the story, voice performed by Tavia Gilbert is exceptionally good. This story I could listen to over and over again and would not get bored.
This is a great book, but to have a male and female audible reader just read different chapters of the book just doesn't make sense. When I first seen that their was a male reader and a female reader, I thought that the male would do the voices for the male characters and the female would do the voices for the females. It was so disappointing to hear a male read for the female, which make the females sound like gay men. Emma Galvin was doing a good job by herself with the male and female characters. When you have a male reading for a female it just doesn't sound good. If you want to hear a good book read with a male and female voice listen to Karen Marie Moning book Dreamfever and Shadowfever, trust me, it really make the story believable and enjoyable. Great story but the audible I was very disappointed.
So many times I've looked at the cover of this audiable and thought no I don't like the cover. My sister told me later that she started reading this very good book called, 'First Grave On The Right." After I looked up the audiable book, there that cover was again. Usually if she tell me a story is good usually it is. My sister was right this is a very good series, I fell in love with this story it is different from any book I've read so far, and I've read a lot of books. Now I'm waiting on book 5 and just can't wait. There is not enough time for me to write in detail all that this series deserve, due to the fact that work is waiting for me. This is a wonderful story and if you love a very good detective love story with comedy and a good twist, this series has it all. Read this or listen to it you wil be very happy that you did. Trust Me!
The only reason the performance received three stars was that allof the male characters sound just alike, but good job anyway. The book had a good story line and it was different then a lot of the books I've read. It was refreshing to read a different story line that's not just like all the others. Thank you Jacquelyn Frank. You can't go wrong reading this book.
I'm constantly looking for a good book to read and sometimes I get lucky and this SweetBlood Series was good. Audible should have a page where as a member can go to and recommend good books that they've read. Make it simple, life is too complicated. The narrator Eve Bianco has a sexy male voice for Fang. It would be nice to have a male and female read the audible books together, like in the FaeFever Series.
This book was fun to read and I really enjoyed it. Matter of a fact I am reading the third book now and have already purchased for forth.
E L James really know how to break a man down to nothing. The book was unbelievable.
After reading Shadow Fever I was hungry, now I have a thirst for blood, to be bitten by another good book. At the Borders by my home, (now closed, out of business) a person I met there told me about this book. Anyway, I loved it! Most of all I love the relationship the three brother have.
I've read a lot of paranormal romance stories and this one is definitely the best. This Fever series is amazing.
