Almost a year has passed since the events of Starship: Mercenary. Captain Wilson Cole now commands a fleet of almost 50 ships, and he has become the single greatest military force on the Inner Frontier.

    "Hoping for more"

I really enjoyed the first 3 books in the series, and this book does not disappoint. I can even imagine the characters and venues with very little effort. I strongly recommend this book and the entire series to the science fiction fan. Enjoy!

Andrew "Ender" Wiggin was not the only child in the Battle School; he was just the best of the best. In this book, Card tells the story of another of those precocious generals, the one they called Bean, the one who became Ender's right hand, part of his team, in the final battle against the Buggers. Bean's past was a battle just to survive. His success brought him to the attention of the Battle School's recruiters.

Joel says: "GREAT Series....Narrator change from Book 4 on"
    "Narrator change throws you off."
    Overall

I have listened to the previous 3 books in the series and look forward the remaining 3. I was a little disappointed that the narrator was different for this book. His pronunciation of some of the names is so different from the first 3 books, that I thought that new characters had been introduced. I will continue the series because I am so far into it. I will however in future purchases verify that the series narrator stays the same. In spite of the change in narrator, this book is still worth the listen.
