While in Paris on business, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon receives an urgent late-night phone call. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, a baffling cipher found near the body. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, sort through the bizarre riddle, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Da Vinci, clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

"This book is a must have !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
    Overall

I have read all three books myself. I got the first book for my wife. She drives 2 hours to work each way and has gotten hooked listening to audio books. I suggested this series to her after I had finished reading the books. She said ?why not" she was interest in the world that I could not stop talking about.
Let me warn you now the book starts off a little slow but when you get hooked, and believe me you will, you will want more and more, you will eat sleep and drink the book and when you rest your head on your pillow at night to sleep you will then dream about the book and its characters.
I can not recommend this title, and the next 2 in the series, more. When you have listened to each book 2 or 3 times (and you will) you can join the other million or so of us that pace our floors waiting for the next installment.
The reader is ok, he is a little hard to get used to at first, but you will. You have to realize that this is another world, the names of places and characters are a little weird and the reader does not help much because he sort of just blows through them. Just stick in there I?m glad I did.
After downloading them for my wife I burned them to disks. I put one in to make sure it copied ok, to make a long story short, I listened for 6 and a half hours. GET THEM. NUFF SAID. One more thing, these books do have some foul language and a few really explicit love scenes. I would not get these for children. It?s good to be a grown-up.
