When the city proposes to build a road through their neighborhood, Noon begins a crusade to keep it from happening - and maybe save her marriage in the process. Tumble into this amazing novel and feel the love and warmth of a special block in South Philly. This is an extraordinary depiction of the true meaning of family and fellowship.

If you could sum up Tumbling in three words, what would they be?

    Reaping what you have sown.

What does Myra Lucretia Taylor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice is absolutely perfect. Each character uniquely portrayed.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Cry. So much drama, but the family togetherness balanced this book.

The narrator really took away from the reading. Her drawl and slow speech made the characters sound slow. Occasionally, the voice matched the character, but the book would have benefited from a better narrator.

She’s undignified, bad tempered, and only 17 - not to mention that no prophet of Parne has ever been a girl. Worst of all, as the elders often warn, if she agrees to become the Infinite's prophet, Ela knows she will die young. "Istgard has turned their back on Me. See the evil they do."

I did not enjoy this book. In my opinion it had no direction or purpose. From the beginning it just shove you into the story without explanation of why, where, or what. It slowly divulges details, but it was totally uninteresting to listen to. The narrators voice was perfect for the book, but I still could not finish it.

Would you listen to Married Men again? Why?

I would if it were not for the abundance of cursing. If one doesn't mind that, indeed I would.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes definitely although I didn't. I listen to my books while driving to work, but if it's good I will take a long drive and just listen. This was one of them.
