book was a little slow at first. I snuck a peak at part of the movie. the movie covered 90 percent of the book time line in 10 minutes.
The movies loses 95 percent of the details. I believe the book is much better than the movie. Will look for other books by the author.

Seemingly unrelated stories...it's a book worth entertaining.
The only issue I had was the female voicing Luke. It comes off as quite fake/ someone really trying to impersonate a southerner. That being said, it wasn't enough to stop me from finishing this.
At first it's a little hard to get interested I thought because you don't know what's going on yet is the only reason but it all makes sense in the end and it is the usual wonderful Nicholas Sparks Bittersweet Tale!!
