I am a sucker for a good story
This is a review of the series. The three books are clearly a single story arc divided into three big chapters. Each chapter installing that desire to turn the pages faster to get to a very satisfying end. As with all such satisfying reads, I did not want it to end. But end it did and if there are no more, that is probably for the best since I am unsure how Mr Correira could make the series even better.
The series was a very pleasant surprise for me. I wasn't expecting much at first, but found myself enjoying this very much. The weaving of historical events and characters with science-fiction added an interesting element to the storyline.
Not a story of huge substance. But vastly entertaining. The performance is spot on, and it has a good arc.
This series is one of the best fantasy world I have ever experiences. Out of all the comic books, manga, video games, T.V. Show, and moves I have seen this series is in my top 5. The narrator is in my opinion one of the greats in the industry.
I love this novel. The story of Grimnoir is filled with history and a magic system that makes sense. Think of X men in 1930s with magic detectives
