I decided to read this book because I read little big lies from the same author and I absolutely loved it. I was not disappointed by this book. It sucks you in right from the beginning and delivers until the end.
This was my first experience at an audio book and it open a whole new world for me. I love to read but as a mom of 3 rarely have the time to do so. This is an amazing listen. It kept me on my toes the entire time. I have since listened to 3 more Liane Moriarty books. I'm hooked. Please give this book a try it is worth every penny or your credit. I loved it!
I found this book to be not as good as "Big Little Lies." There was a lot of rambling on, for example, " should I tie my shoes or shouldn't i? What if I don't tie them? Bla, bla, bla. In all I thought the story itself was good, but a little drawn out.
What a great book! I love all the twists and turns. It really makes you think about the chain reactions that happen every time you make a decision. The ripple effect.
A little hard to follow until I learned the characters due to several families stories being told at the same time. After "getting it". It was hard to keep away from because I was do anxious to hear what happened next. The ending( under any circumstances, do not allow yourself to read it until the very end or it will ruin so much for you) completely took the whole book to a new amazing level.
Very well written. I loved how the three stories intertwined. I loved the 'what if's and the secrets they all held on to. Loved the Australian dialect. Definitely a must read for everyone. Caroline Lee did a great job with her narration.
I loved Big Little Lies and decided I would try the Husband's Secret. So glad I did. Her novels are so well written. She really makes you understand the characters and gets to the emotions and conflicts we all face. I especially liked the Epilogue. I often wonder what would have happened had I made different choices or hadn't been late for an appointment. Can't wait for the next Moriarity!
