Well it's actually not Dan. It's his wife who can't figure out how to change that on the profile. But I love to read and listen to books.
Yes, I have enjoyed the trilogy. I liked how you continued to learn about the characters from the previous books.
I liked the unexpected conflict in this book.
I have listened to Adam Paul in all three books. He did a great job with each character's voice.
No crying or laughing. There were parts that were intense.
I felt this was a good ending to all three books and I liked how they were all tied together.
I didn't notice as much useless chatter in the second of the series. This book is bereft of hotness do to the repetitive nature of conversations between the Men. OMG, how may times did Jace have to tell Ash he was there for him, that they " were family". OK already we get it, they are close. The way Ash tells Jose what he's going to do is so mechanical, there is nothing sexy about it.
What an erotic story narrated by a man. My first one of these and not the last. I had read the first two of the series and thought I'd try the narrated third story. I'll never "read" this type again. Great story, great performance. Thanks for the experience!
This series is full of alpha males, steamy sex, suspense and laughter, and this book is the best of the three. Each of the female lead characters have different personalities, but have one thing in common-- attraction to dominant men. It makes for a great listen. The ending was one that I didn't anticipate, and I liked that too. Adam Paul is a good narrator. Well worth the credit, but start at the beginning of the trilogy and listen to them all-- you won't be disappointed.
HATE spoilers! Enjoy HOT, sexy books. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. Running out this type Audible-so on2 lighter romance/mystery :-(
This is the third installment in the Breathless Series-A Series that isn't more than it claims to be. These are not complex, challenging books to listen to. The characters are not super deep...if you are looking for an easy read with straight forward plot that is mostly about sex-this is it.
Ash, Jace, and Gabe: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They're accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Ash, it's the woman who changes everything he’s ever known about dominance and desire....
When it comes to sex, Ash McIntyre has always explored his wilder side - extreme and uncompromising. He demands control. And he prefers women who want it like that. Even the ones he's shared with his best friend, Jace.
But Jace is involved with a woman he has no intention of sharing. And now even Gabe has settled into a relationship with someone who gives him everything he needs, leaving Ash feeling restless and unfulfilled.
Then Ash meets Josie, who seems immune to his charms and his wealth. Intrigued, he begins a relentless pursuit, determined she won’t be the one who got away. He never imagined the one woman to tell him no would be the only woman who’d ever drive him to the edge of desire.

You really should read these in order or much of this book will not make sense.
Strong, solid, steady.
I am always impressed with male narrators who can portray female characters without making them sound like effeminate men-he does a good job.
NOTE: Strong language and explicit sex
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
I forced myself to finish this trilogy and I see there may be another in the future from listening. Maya Banks books are pretty much the same so when I need a break from a suspenseful thriller or the supernatural I will listen to one of her stories....but Adam Paul just sounds creepy and I don't think I would listen if he were the narrator.
These stories are not very interesting they are titillating and you pretty much know what you are in for when you choose a listen from Ms. Banks.
No, like I said above he sounds creepy.
Well it would be behind the curtains in the video store and do they even show xxx-rated movies anywhere anymore?
I could not get in to this book. First, it was tending toward a Shades of Gray type book. I also could not buy the story line. I was figuratively rolling my eyes before the third chapter. I'm sure many will probably like the book. It just wasn't appealing to me. I don't think I will buy this author's books again.
Like the romance, but love the action involved to get there!
As for the entire trilogy I have to give it overall a 4.0. Not a lot of surprises, the world of these books is rich in detail, mostly plausible scenarios (except book 2), and for the most part imparts the age old knowledge that men really are thick headed...and us women have to keep forgiving them or the earth would no longer be populated.
This book followed the same formula as books 1 and 2....man meets woman, man is oddly attracted to woman...on a primal level of course...man is obsessed with woman...woman is overtaken by mans desire and then man screws up and woman must forgive him...or once again we have the population issue!
Sometimes I really don't like Maya Banks stuff...she is for sure off in her own world and writes to please herself, not her readers...but at least she gets the hot scenes HOT! This book is no exception...and to the person out there who gives a below three star rating because they feel it's pornography with barely a plot...I encourage you to READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!! Maya writes hot...if you don't like reading graphic scenes of submission, Dominance, and pure hot sex...then don't get the book, and stay away from Shayla Black while you are at it too!
The book is under $10, so just buy it.
