I have listened to the Gift several times. I live the story, the characters, most especially the two main characters. They are immensely engaging and attractive. When I need a lift it can be assured that I will listen to it again.
I loved it! the story was really funny to me. Sarah reminded me of Lucy from the I Love Lucy Show. I also loved how Nathan was able to show his sweet side at the end of the story
I read this book for the first time 25 years or so ago. I loved it then, and I love it now. It's the first "romance novel" to make me laugh out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
One of my favorite books as a teenager. Yes, Sara is a naïve girl, but she is so good natured and makes me laugh at her antics you gotta love her. Sometimes you don't always want to read the same type of character in books and Sara is different. To me this a warm hearted romance and if you are looking for a light adventure this could be for you. Of course this is the third book in the series so you may want to read the other two books first, but I think it can be read as a stand alone. Narrator is okay, I will admit she is not my favorite but she does a better job in this book than the last two book in the series.
Say something about yourself!
The lovers in this story are very cute. Their marriage is arranged as children and when they finally meet as adults, their attraction to each other is undeniable. She is such a klutz, but so well intentioned that he forgives her every time she brings about one catastrophe after another. They are the embodiment of opposites attracting.
I found this book great entertainment .
I laughed & cried & got disgusted with the girl.
I enjoyed all three books connecting this family.
