Yes and I probably will as I have all the other Kresley Cole books. I am starting the next series and hope there as good, Her books keep you wanting more
What to say, I love listening to Audio Books. It gives me a perfect escape while I am working with loud equipment, hiding my ear buds under my ear muffs :)
His ability to change his voice to create differences in all the characters is fantastic! It makes my knees weak to hear him grumble.. :)
Drool! Enough Said!
I am I
It was alright. I cannot pinpoint the problem, it was just ok. Not spectacular.
Well, the small preview for next book made it better.
I think this is what bothers me. I've listen to 3 books in this series and it has been the same accent/voice for the protagonists. My first book was Lothaire and since then ALL the males, sound like Lothaire. Now, the next book... same voice. It changed from the one he had during this book to "Lothaire voice".
I don't know. *shrug*
I love Kresley. She is an instant buy for me, but I think I will preview the audiobook next time and maybe get the book on my nook and imagine a sexy male voice for the protagonist *giggles*
I know that the narrator has the best material to work with in a Kresley Cole IAB novel. Even so, Robert Petkoff takes the story to a whole new level. So many narrators read in an animated voice the words on the page. Mr. Petkoff acts this novel out and brings vivid life to the characters. I would sit in my car for 20 minutes after arriving home just to not break the spell. Isn't that a wonderful thing?
Yes! Great read and great story. Characters are well developed and you can't put the book down once you start! Very hot!
Chloe.. strong female. I love that she is a tomboy yet also very feminine, and she is anything but helpless.
He brings the story 'to life'... he manages it really well.
Hot and Hotter!
This is my favorite Immortals After Dark book up to now. Very fun and hot story! Highly recommended for those that love paranormal romances.
I think the audio version blows the print version out of the water specifically because of Robert Petkoff's voice. This narrator brings life to the story, and not just plain old normal boring life, its like the content is exploding straight into your face that you're immersed in it!!
The whole series is crazy awesome! Automatic download indeed!!
Hot, Angst, Addicting
I've re-downloaded this book twice now - listening to it 3 times already and I'm thinking about a 4th. It's the perfect blend of angst, lust, hate, and love (of course)! Who doesn't love a hot Scottish werewolf? Seriously.
EVERYTHING. The tension. The paranormal war. The Lore. The romance
I actually thought I would be bias that a man voiced a romance novel, but Robert was perfect. He's very talented.
Absolutely. I wish I could've, but I had to go to work.
One thing I did not like is that Cole left us with a cliffhanger for the next story. I HATE and LOVE that. I'm ready to buy the next one for that story, but it's not even out yet or titled!! No mention of it. :( So I guess I don't like that Cole left me with a craving for more, however, she reeled me in and I kind of want to buy all her books now. Good for me, bad on timing and the budget haha.
Not previously, but I will in the future.
This is a great addition to the series. My only complaint: I wish the cover was different. This was not my imagining of Macrieve, and the publishers do us (the readers) a disservice by forcing their interpretation of the character down our throats. One of the great joys of reading/listening is to have that flexibility of imagination.
