I enjoyed this story. It was quite believable. I enjoy authors, like Bella Andre whose writing creates a screen before your mind's eye. I could just see Lilly walking that runway and Travis' shocked face!
It was a book that I could relate to and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a love story. Warning....it is highly erotic and if that's not for you then you'll not care for this one.
Yes If the plot was better
Not the next book in this series!!!!
They were both good,
Total disappointment. Everything was about erotic sex and a dress. I just wish Bella had spent just as much time on the characters as she did on the specifics of the sex acts. Most women are looking for strong women characters (like the Sullivan women) not some wuss like Lily to read about. This is 2015 not 1950. Most of us women know we are more than a sex object. We also know being in love can be a wonderful thing. But we must be treated with love and not like some "Ho". Lily put all her womanhood on a dress! Really??? If thinking a dress can change you, you need therapy!!!!! I do appreciate the story about a full figured woman, but make it real. Not all full figured women have a complex about their size. The book mentioned Queen Latifah. I don't see this sister acting shy. Try again Bella.
I have bought almost everything Bella Andre/Lucy Kevin has had on Audible. I really like her stories. BUT if this is her new path, I will be finding a new author. I hope the real Bella will come back with real plots and stories.
Loved this book. Lots of sex and the woman is not a skinny perfect blond. If your over a size 12 you'll love it too. Especially if you've always been afraid men only go for skinny, leggy blondes.
The story was rather unappealing. The hero was a complete a** and shallow. The heroine had no confidence and if she truly felt confident she would have never settled for such an egotistical a**
I love BA and have read/listened to every one of them and have delighted in all the characters! But this one, just ended. It had potential but just didn't hit the mark.
The way it was written and the descriptions used made it seem like i was listening to someone's fantasies being read aloud. Yes the sex was hot but as a whole it fell a little flat.
Fury of Fire
As a larger woman I can relate to Lilly on some levels but she irritated me more than gained any sympathy.
Good Books Don't Promote Violence
I wanted to like this story about a full figured woman finding love. If the main character Lilly had liked herself she may have been more likable to me. I couldn't bear to hear a 30+ college educated & attractive woman whining and moaning that no one could love her because she was "fat". I stopped listening to the pity party after less than 2 hours.
Audible has been my life saver.
I was so excited to see that this book had a heroine that was full figured. Couldn't wait to start listening, only to be disappointed to have her have NO self esteem. I know that most full figured women can have lower self esteem, but this went way overboard. Main Story is good, but you'll have a few eye rolls with all of the low self esteem.
I'm all about the romance. I like the romance to be understated and hot. I love to feel that the characters belong with each other whether it be m/f or m/m. I hope I can find more people who share my same passions so that I can share the reviews and suggestions.
One of definite top 5
Lily, I related to her in a special way.
Where Travis is declaring hs love to her and drops down on one knee.
Everything under the sun
Love it! I would love to find out what happens with Janice's and Luke.
This is just a fantastic book and so refreshing! Finally a sexy size 16 woman getting the love of her life and getting through her insecurities she has had all her life! I always try to buy the book with more realistic looking people in it. Fantastic read!
