Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
Yes, this store is a combination of Fifty Shades + Bared to you! I did like the store, however I felt that it was rushed. The book definately should have had more substance and it was too short.
Busy college student and working lady. Lover of YA, Fantasy, and I never turn down a good Romance.
I was having a hard time deciding if this book was worth the credit because of the length. But I’m so glad I read the reviews and got it! I loved every minute of this book. Two chapters in I bought the next three books! Worth the credit or purchase price.
WARNING: Cliff hanger ending. You'll want the next book immediately!
well this was my first audio book so I can't compare.
it has a "50 shades of grey" and "bared to you" vibe, because it has the elements of a strong business man, and a normal girl who is beautiful (but who doesn't know it). They are initially strangers but are drawn to each other, have hot sex, discover each others inner demons and fall in love.
I actually don't really like Grace Grant's voice, I picture Byrn as young and beautiful but Grace's voice does not really capture it, and I was hoping that Shane East(mans voice) would read Eathan's part but he just reads the prologue and Grace does an annoying job of deepening her voice for Eathan's character. But I love the story and I have learned to tolerate her voice.
not at first but as soon as Ethan Blackstone laid eyes on Byrn it got so good.
I heard the 2nd book is so good,
I was so bored with this, I returned it. I wasn't even going to bother with a review, but I feel like there are too many people - obviously - who don't like to be negative and so all you get are fawning reviews from the easily impressed. I mean, that's my best guess.
I liked Fifty Shades, but this wanna-be, copy-cat really lacked the depth, character development and plot that Fifty had - and since the latter wasn't exactly great literature, that's saying a lot.
It was weak when the heroine's impression and inner dialogue told me that the "hero" was "dominate" before she had a real reason to think so. I guess we were just supposed to know from all the other similarities to Fifty...
There seem to be so many knockoffs of popular books... and I, like others, go looking for for another compelling read in the same vein, but all too often are disappointed.
The story overall is so and so, as I had expected. But the narration is very very bad. Especially the male voices were the worst. The main male character's voice sounded like a cave man!
I purchased this book series on Kindle and loved them...and when I saw they were available on audible, I didn't waste one minute buying them!!!! I loved them the first time on Kindle and they were even more amazing on audible!!!! I love Ethan Blackstone!
Definitely a good guilty pleasure read especially if you're on the go constantly & only have time for a quick listen. Will e
It was expensive for such a short novel. I've paid way less for books five times as long.
Story was ok.
Lower the price.
I enjoyed the story, and the characters. I really do not like these 'cliff hangers' where you don't have any idea about the ending without buying another of the authors books. Kind of a ripoff. Nevertheless, I have bought the next book to find out how the story resolves. I just hope it doesn't require me buying Another to find out. If so, that'll be it for this author for me.
I love it but I wish it was longer!!!!!! It was to quick and should have been fully written to make it more captivating! But aside from that I loved it! I just bought the next one! Lol💕
