Too busy to read as much as I'd like, Audible is the perfect solution. I'm a romance reader mostly, but can stray into any story.
I absolutely loved this book. Insta-love is usually reserved for fun, light hearted books that you read or listen to when you need a break from intensity, as it can come across as corny. This was most definitely insta-love but not corny at all. I believed every word and every emotion. I can't wait to get to the next book.
Grace Grant is one of my favorite narrators, but I'm not so sure this was the right book for her as her British accent isn't the strongest and there was a lot of it. I hope there is more Shane East in the next one.
It was expensive for such a short novel. I've paid way less for books five times as long.
Story was ok.
Lower the price.
I enjoyed the story, and the characters. I really do not like these 'cliff hangers' where you don't have any idea about the ending without buying another of the authors books. Kind of a ripoff. Nevertheless, I have bought the next book to find out how the story resolves. I just hope it doesn't require me buying Another to find out. If so, that'll be it for this author for me.
I love it but I wish it was longer!!!!!! It was to quick and should have been fully written to make it more captivating! But aside from that I loved it! I just bought the next one! Lol💕
It is like the first 1/4 of a book. You get the characters, introduction of the conflict (does he love her or is it the job?!?!) then it ends.
I found this short novel profoundly shallow. No signs of real human beings. One dimentional, non-humoristic adult cartoon. Terrible brit-english narration.
I enjoyed the book, the characters & the sex. I however feel a little short change in the story department. I feel lime character info was lacking and how fast we got to the goods . still enjoyed book & looking forward to the next book.
I guess I really liked this because I went and bought the next one in the series right away(and the next and the next). It did have great characters, I'll say that. And the story was somewhat believable although it does get a little far-fetched in the next few books. Nonetheless, the back story about a girl who was brutally raped as a teen and a man who suffered from PTSD after a stint in Afganistan, worked well to create chemistry between the two. I like that Bryanne wasn't a pushover, she seemed like a strong American woman for the most part. The narration was awesome, by the way----Shane East has the sexiest voice ...I had to google him just to see what he looked like, I couldn't find his picture. :( Oh well, it's probably for the best.
