I have not been happy with Brad Thor on his last several books so it is nice to see him back on point. Path of the Assassin might be my favorite book of all time so I love the Horvath series but it was just going sideways. This one is back to being a current headline.
I've petered out on Brad Thor after the Athena affair, tried one more time and found this one better. Though I did have to check a few times to be sure this was not written by Ron Paul.
Cunning, exciting, surprising
Lara, new character very well written
There are definitely parts that make me chuckle. I get his sense of humor.
Brad writes very cognizant and contemporary books. Hidden Order is no exception and may even be a glimpse forward.
Just love listing to audiobooks. Some of my favorite authors are Vince Flynn and Brad Thor
This buy far one of my favorite Scott Harvath books. This is one of the first books that I have acutely did a little of my own Research on. And after listing to it I became a little bite more smarter. If this is your first Brad Thor book, then it's a good one to start with.
Anyone in the financial industry
Way to much detail about the banking industiry
Ability to do many voices
Love to take my walks listening to audible books
YES, ABSOLUTELY. I BOUGHT THE BOOK BUT DECIDED TO LISTEN TO THE AUDIBLE INSTEAD WHICH I FOUND TO BE MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE
WHEN SCOTT WATCHED THE LITTLE BOY ASLEEP IN HIS BED WHICH I FOUND VERY TOUCHING
SCOTT IS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE
YES - IT WAS VERY HARD TO STOP LISTENING TO THE AUDIBLE BOOK
JUST KEEP WRITING THESE EXCITING BOOKS AND INCLUDE A HISTORY LESSON AT THE SAME TIME.
I started listening to audiobooks only about a year ago. I was never a big reader. I read several of the Mitch Rapp books, and I loved them. But- I'm the type who gets into a story and can't put it down. I was reading well into my sleeping hours because I work at least 12 hours a day, and the only chance I had to read was when I needed to sleep. I started listening to the Mitch Rapp books. It was perfect for me. I sped through the series. I tried some other series. I liked them, but they weren't even close to Rapp. I listened through the entire Rapp series again. I tried a few new series.... and then I found Brad Thor's character: Scot Harvath. I'm not finished with the series, but the first twelve Harvath books have entertained me in a way I had been hoping for since finishing the Rapp series a second time. I'm excited about following the rest of Harvath's story, and I'm only worried about when it's done. Will I be able to find a book series that can follow Rapp and Harvath?!
Thrilling, revealing, ending could be stronger. I thought it unraveled really quickly. Great voice performance on each of the characters.
having written the entire book about events in Boston it made the book not as exciting as the other ones however I still loved the book
