Really enjoyed this book and loved the narrator - Scott Brick he is great as the narrator and wouldn't wanted anyone else to read it to me!
This was a great book. Fun characters, good tight plot, lots of suspense, no gaping holes in the plot....I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a typical Plum novel, but it was very good. I can't wait for the next one.
With not much character development, we are supposed to enjoy the tired clichés of characters.
I feels like a tired movie script.
Don't get me wrong here. I Love Evanovich. Why she put her name to this book I do not know. The female character is weak and not likable. All the characters go from scene to scene with out us really caring about the characters. The idea is like an Oceans 11, but that relies on the likability of the characters. I did not like the characters.
Do not spend your $$ on this book. Not worth it.
No. Had great hope for these authors but no.
Show, flat or weird inflection. Got .05% better as continued but just - weird. Struggled to listen. Trying to finish but like pulling teeth or fingernails on blackboard.
Could have been so much better with a little humor and losing some of drag in the start. Took forever to set up relationship. Opportunity lost in Greece - too much snark, not enough humor. Just heard comparison to Silence of Lambs - best lines.
So disappointed. If try another - doubtful - will read book to see if that helps.
Consistently overly-dramatic...I used to be a fan...but now his style has worn thin. My history will show I've been a long-time , loyal fan of both Evanovich and Brick. The ship has sailed for me. His delivery is predictably over the top...I've truly grown tired of it..
love the story line and the charaters i still have problem with the narrator. but, i'm ready for the next one. go janet.
Great story line.
Travel, Good characters, lots of surprises
Gives the characters personality
