This book was a perfect representation of our own life. We have 6 small children and have ex
Love just about everything. I only recently started driving to work so I'm new to audible.
Sure, its amusing. But not hysterical. I think you need to be a New Yorker to totally get him.
If I could give these 3.5 stars I would but goodreads and audible won’t let me.
Not as funny as I was hoping but I still enjoyed it. The part on home birth felt more like a lecture on why home birth is better than being in a hospital. Not everyone is as lucky as he and his wife to have such easy births. Another thing, I felt I couldn’t relate to all of the New York stories since I don’t live there. However there were many segments I did enjoy. In particular I did enjoy the segment about taking kids to birthday parties. I did like the segment on pizza. But a lot of these seem relateable only if you live in NY which I don’t. So not as good as I was hoping.
Entertaining story of Jim's life. Love his comments on fatherhood and marriage. Very real and honest. If you have or work with kids you'll appreciate different aspects of the book.
