I travel a lot so I listen to many books.
I already heard "On Dublin Road" why would I want to hear the same story again from the other perspective. I was hoping this was a continuation of the story not a regurgitation of the same thing.
I am a librarian working as a state worker by day and a FB stalker at night. I like thrillers, YA and, and just about anything in between.
I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because I love the series, it is realistic and relatable. I care about the characters, and feel genuine feelings for them. I also really enjoyed the narrator and thought her American accent was excellent.
I would recommend Down London Road for the reasons I just stated, but I will say them again. I love this series, it is realistic and relatable. I care about the characters, and feel genuine feelings for them. The only problem I had with the book was all the back and forth. It was like a daisy, He loves me. He loves me not. He loves me. He loves me not. I wanted to say, grow up a little. I mean, she is grown before her time due to her family situation, but in the love department, she was really immature.
I have not listened to one of Elle Newland's performances before, but I really enjoyed this one.
This was a book that I could have listened to in one sitting, and I practically did by listening to the gym, at the gym, to work, during lunch, on the way home, repeat.
Awesome story line and strong characters. I am so loving this series. I am definitely getting the next book. I really liked that the characters from the first book continued into this book. Samantha Young ties in their story line perfectly. The reader gets to see more interactions with them and the Carmichael Family. Hated to stop listening or step away from the story. So far, these books are really worth the credits or a purchase. You can't go wrong with this series.

I was a book junkie, now I'm a audio junkie. I love all fiction from Romance to post Apocalyptic.
I LOVED book 1.... That being said, this one falls a bit flat. The two main characters just seemed a bit shallow.
The narration on this one was a little painful to listen to at first. I gradually got used to it but it still grated on my nerves. Overall it's a good story and decent listen. Not sure if it's worth the price tag tho
Full Time Business Manager and mom to 5 boys and 1 girl, in every spare minute I have I'm reading or listening. I LOVE AUDIBLE
Very good narrator. Story keeps you interested and deals with some tough issues like parental alcoholism and domestic violence. Steamy and romantic story of triumph. Loved it.
I would most certainly listen to this book again. The narrator was awesome but the story line was also very believable and realistic.
My favorite character was Braden. I love the alpha male. He is strong and sexy but very sensitive too. His words sent chills up my spine.
She was absolutely fantastic. The Scottish accent is hard to maintain when switching back and forth to an American accent. She did a great job because the transition was flawless which made following the conversation easier to do.
It made me laugh out loud a few times and also tear up. It was a feel good all of the time book but touched on true matters of the heart. I literally laughed out loud when Braden was tickling Joss' foot and she farted. No one ever talks about things like that in a "romance" novel. But in real life those things happen often.
I highly recommend this book to someone searching for a feel good love story. It was also a quick read/listen.
I think the character development and the continued interesting sub-stories kept me enthralled and engaged the entire way through. I just couldn't stop listening!
The narrator did a great job but the authentic Scottish accent made it difficult at times to understand because there wasn't enough undulation. It seemed as though one word blended into another. Once I got used to it, I had no problem listening to the book.
