Yes, the story line had potential.
This one doesn't hold a flame to the Prequel, "Beautiful Bastard"! I was hoping that this one would not be a disappointment but it was. This one was so quick in the love scenes and very obvious.
Maybe, as long as Grace Grant doesn't have to do anymore British accents. She sounds more like an Irishman than anything. I was embarrassed for her.
Can I get my money back?!
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
No, not for me. I had to stop listening after a few chapters.
I purchased during a sale, taking a chance on dual readers. This is not for me.
Grace Grant is an A.K.A. for a reader I can not stand. I did not catch it from the sample.
I can not always recognize her reading until I am into a few chapters. She has gotten better, but she is still not for me.
This is a great series but Emma is not my favorite character. I wouldn't say this is a bad book because I did enjoy it but it is not as good as Beautiful Bastard. Still worth a credit but it won't knock you over like the first book did. Narration is fantastic!!
Johnathan's voice was to die for. I just wanted to eat him up. Sara and Max were so fun to listen to their feelings for each other turn into vulnerable, intoxicating, love. I found myself addicted to this story and just couldn't put it down.
I was worried the end of the story would not have enough punch. But it was a great balance of drama and resolution without being over the top. I loved how the characters complimented each other and grew as people together.
I think Grace did a much better job as Sara than Chloe. Jonathan was amazing!!!! I usually don't like British accents for my audio books, but he was so raw and such a great actor. I will look for other books of his for sure.
YES!!!!!! My entire family got upset with me because I would not put my headphones down. I even went to the gym and did an extra 30 minutes on the treadmill just so I could continue listening. I cleaned the entire house and went for an extra drive so I could have an excuse to listen to it more. I will probably relisten to it in a week or so.
I can't wait to listen to the next in the series. I want to hear Johnathan's voice more. And Sebastian York is coming up!!!!! What great voice actors were chosen for this series.
Oh my goodness. The narrator with the british accent.. yummy. I could listen to him forever. There was a time where he mentioned a character in the story with my name , i swear i listened to the way he pronounced my name like 10 times ;). Please hire him to narrate more books please. He made a difference in the way i enjoyed the book. Anyways the book was really good. I highly recommended.
Since this is the third book I have listened to so far (EVER), it actually is my favorite!
The narration was good. Grace and Sebastian both are animated and effective performers and I would listen to them again. The sexy British accent was certainly a plus.... okay a big one. And Grace does a pretty good job on her end with the accent as well. The story of Sarah and Max is a little different. Public escapades are something not often written about so it was a nice change of intensity.
Absolutely! I was so bummed to pull into the office parking lot, or garage at home and have to pause the story till the next day.
I have really liked this series. That said, I have other series I have liked more. That was until I stopped focusing totally on Bennet and Chloe. Beautiful Bombshell was a fun focus on Vegas, Beautiful Beginnings a great conclusion and Beautiful Player (AMAZING!) I dug them. Thanks for the Continuity! Please read: Beautiful Player and Stranger were left off my list because I didn't know if it would pay to step away from focusing on Bennet and Chloe (Did I like the series enough to pay for them??). I was wrong. After I finally listened to Beautiful Stranger (Max and Sara) , I realized I needed to Listen to Will's story. Both Stranger and Player go into Depth in their characters - I love the his and hers versions and the accents by the way on these narrations as well - this is one of the cases where the narration surpasses the written book. Perhaps it's the evolution of the series in my mind, but I prefer to think it's the evolution of the writing (getting better and better) and the redeeming qualities of the characters in this story that puts it on top. Yes Will and Max are/were man whores - WERE is the operative word. The bigger they are, the harder they fall - Love these books, give me some more! Beautiful Player is by FAR the best of the series, and next best is Beautiful Stranger - Bennet and Chloe need more personalization - don't get me wrong, love them, but what they're feeling is never as clear as it is with Will and Hannah and Max and Sarah - I look forward to your continued growth in writing and more books like Player and Stranger - Narration Outstanding!
Yes Hot Hot Hot
Mr Coles voice
Yes he does it for me
How she decided to be young and let go
Reading this book made me want to go back and read the first installment in the series. Click! Boy meets girl in a club. Click! They have stranger sex in a public place. Click! It seems like the story is winding down into the happily ever after and then....BAM! A new twist!. Love it..click! George, Sara’s admin, is so funny he almost steals the show. Click! There’s plenty of hot & erotic sex…click! The photographs are described with so much detail, they come to life as you listen. Click! And there are so many - they tell a story within the story. Click!
I loved the narration, especially Jonathan Cole's narration of Max Stella. As much as I enjoy reading print books as well, the story would not be the same without the sexy growl of Max's voice.
The narration was great, loved the story line, which was different, and really enjoyed the development of the characters and the continuation of the series.
