I usually love this author, but I felt I suffered through this entire book. I have never known more unlikeable characters or a more disappointing story. Not one good moment.
Since I have two small children, I have no time to sit and read. Listening to books as I drive is probably the most relaxing part of my day.
Less annoying main characters. The two female leads became very annoying after awhile and i began to no longer care what happened to them.

Engh....I could take them or leave them. Liked Jane Enwhistle better in "Ive got your number."
Ive got your number was the first kinsella book ive read and remains my favorite. Wedding night would be my second least favorite behind shopahollic which i just could not finish.

Lottie - great personality - funny
All of the characters were great - variance in voicing made it interesting to listen to!
Leave the past in the past - anything worth having from it you have already taken with you.
The best part of my day is relaxing and listening to my audiobooks.
A GOOD LAUGH. I absolutely loved the book. I couldn't stop laughing.
I loved the storyline with the staff at the hotel.
I loved the narrator who portrayed the staff at the hotel.
The book made me laugh. Excellent storyline.
This one was a bit blah for Sophie Kinsella. LOVEEE her others.. but this one was predictable and didn't have a lot of substance.
I loved the Shopaholic series and enjoyed a few of Sophie Kinsella's other books, but even as fiction I have to say this book was shallow, pointless and painful to listen to, a real stinker. I couldn't stand any of the characters.
At one point while I was listening, I just blurted out loud, "For pity sakes, just go to a cheap motel and put me out of my misery". Luckily I was alone at home at the time.
The female characters were just whiny and dysfunctional. I even listened to the book at double speed just hoping to get it over with.
I have vowed not to pay for another Sophie Kinsella book.
Normally her books are lighthearted with likable characters. I didn't enjoy any of these people. They were all fairly shallow and uninteresting. The plot lines are usually slightly daffy with sweet endings. This was all about people wanting sex. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it was the entire story. I've had an Audible membership for over 10 years. This is only the third book that I've listened to and struggled to complete in that time. Really, this was pretty awful!
I love to read but who has time. I'm in the car all day for work so listening to books is so perfect and feeds my habit. :-)
The book started off ok, but it just went down hill after à bit. The accents started to get on my nerves.
I'm not really sure
Hearing the story from different points of view made it more enjoyable to listen to. It was a little predictable, but that wasn't really a problem. This book had some authentically hilarious moments.
Any scene at the hotel. I laughed out loud during some of them.
I would actually recommend this book to others. I haven't read any of Sophie Kinsella's other books, but I think this was a cute read with some genuine characters. The story moved well and even though it was a little predictable, there were some great surprises. It was a nice light listen and had characters with some dimension.
I love the way Sophie Kinsella writes. I never saw the end coming for this book.
