I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
Sometimes these reviews are hard to write because you don’t want to give away any spoilers. Ugh! If you’re a fan of love stories then you’ll like this one. If you believe in fate then you’ll like this one.
Camryn is unsatisfied with her life. She thought she lost the love of her life in a car accident when she was in high school. After she has a falling out with her best friend she just decided to get on a bus and just go. She has no destination in mind. She just wants to see the world.
Andrew’s father is dying. Instead of flying he takes the bus instead. He does not want to see his father die. There’s allot of things Andrew does not want to face. He never expected to find the love of his life on a bus. So just when you think they have found happiness a terrible secret comes to light and you wonder if there’s going to be a happy ever after or not.
So is this worth a credit? Yes! For those of you with concerns with sexual content, I would say it’s mild and not very much content in the story.
True Story Book Blog
All of it...Andrew and Camryn have a completely unique story and I loved every second of it.
I can't compare...it's a great angsty New Adult romance.
She doesn't over do Andrew's voice, which I appreciate it - it's very natural. She's also got a great voice for Camryn.
Two lost souls who find their way together...
Andrew is on of my top book boyfriends ever and this story just hits me in all the right places - the emotions, the characters, the writing - every part of it is awesome.
I love JA Redmerski. I was so looking forward to this book. I was so disappointed I cannot even get past chapter one. The narrator is awful!!!!! She reads so slow it's unbelievable and I kept checking to make sure I didn't accidentally hit pause. The main character is so cliche I can't even stand it....the typical reluctantly beautiful girl, which would be fine but not what I'm used to from JA Redmerski. His last series in the company of killers is one of the most overwhelmingly entertaining and addictive series I have ever read....to see this from him is just not right. It may be a good story line, but I can't listen to,the narrator long enough to get through it.
I busy myself living life, chasing smiles, and enjoying adventures!
Changed My Life!
I can't think of another book that satisfied my emotional needs as well as my insatiable wanderlust as The Edge of Never. Definitely a one of a kind love story and life story.
I started this book on the way home from work one afternoon and literally kept listening until my alarm went off the next morning. I listened straight through the night, morning prep and my drive back to work. I had to pull off into a parking lot on the way to work to listen to the final chapters because I was crying so hard I couldn't drive. I found it slow to start in the first couple of chapters but when the road trip began, I was so engrossed in the adventure that I couldn't let it end.
Although it seemed unlikely that these 2 characters would randomly find themselves on a road trip together, the story flowed so naturally that I was completely in love with the idea of this couple exploring the open road. I enjoyed their impulsive adventures and the emotional explorations along the way. I was so emotionally involved with these characters and their lives that I found myself laughing, crying, and everything in between. (as a side note - I also found a couple of new favorite songs along the way. I will never again hear "Laugh, I Nearly Died" without thinking of our nights in New Orleans - *sigh*) My life is forever changed after this adventure!
This was total fiction for me. I however I did like the story and where it went. I would have loved to run away from family, friends and life in general but that is why I read. The characters were developed nicely, hearing from both sides of the story. I would have liked a male to narrate the mans view in this book but the narrator did well enough. It took a while to build and felt enveloped at the end of the book completely. That for me made it a good read…..but not great. I love the idea of how fate draws us to one another however, the book could have started out a bit stronger.
Love a good romance
THE ENDING ALTHOUGH MY TEAR DUCKS ARE EXTREMELY CLEARED OUT AT THIS POINT
THE LAST PART WAS EXTREMELY MOVING I AM TRUELY EXHAUSTED AFTER LISTENING TO THE END OF THIS BOOK
NARRATOR WAS GREAT
I like to read VERY much .. I'm obsessed with reading I don't have time to actually read a book so I've been a listener for three years now
ummm.. ok so the book has a very good idea and i LOVE these kinds of stories where a girl does unexpected things to be free, the first chapters of the book were just amazing and i really considered makong it one of my favourite books ..until it became sex-oriented .. im not against sex scenes but thw scenes in the story were just annoying to me becaise they felt empty .. and the words used for describing the scene just cheapened it even more .. and the ending was so unnessecerly dramatic and not convincing .. i hoped that i liked it more but it left me so disturbed and annoyed
Wasn't sure what to expect when i stsrted listening but I got very invested in Camryn and Andrew's story. I'he been reading several romances lately and there is definitely a formula - the girl is ready to have crazy sex with no strings and the guy wants to please the girl before he takes anything for himself. And this story isn't really different in that sense. But I found I liked these people and I cared about them. I am looking forward to listening to the continued story - "the edge of always".
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
I already have. If you are tired of billionaires with kinky habits, listen to this. This book will make you laugh, cry and in the end smile.......
I loved the couple as a whole but being female I would say Andrew is my favorite. He's
funny, loving and not afraid, he's real!
A great narrator...I always say when I can picture the characters in my head, the narrator is doing a wonderful job.
Partners in Crime!
I highly recommend but bring the kleenex...it will be worth it in the end!
No. Once is enough.
Out in the field when Camden saw the snake.
I don't know... young love
