I LOVE READING AND LISTENING TOO BOOK S, MY FAVE AUTHORS ARE MAYAN BANKS, LORELEI JAMES , AND I JUST STARTED READING VIVIAN AREND,
yes , caues it is a great story and i love the books,
the realness to it she states a few times I can't belive this ti happing,i love that about the book
the sexy high heels , made me giggle and want to buy a pair or two,
Even though all the men in this series of books are very demanding they are all so different. Jace is very much his own person and nothing like Gabe is.
Jace and Bethany have to go through so much personal growth to be together.
I love being able to read the stories of the different characters, in this case Jase.
The HEA of course!
I don't really pay attention to the speakers unless they are really terrible.
Fever made me laugh and do a lot of crying!
ASHE for sure.
Adam Paul is exellent!! I'm a fan of his. Great..
Yes, I laughed and cried. Extreme reaction is that I did'nt want it to end. Love it.
Can't wait until the next book... Gessh, speed up the release date PLEAAASSSEEE....
Yes, I would listen again. Although its definitely like Cinderella and there are moments when it really stretches the realm of possibility, I don't read/listen to books to be reminded of reality, so because of that, I enjoyed delving further into these main characters from this series. It smoldered with some of the sexy scenes, the interactions between the friends was always a bit comical to me, and it kept me on the edge a bit because the whole time I was a bit like, "how is this all going to unfold??"
I love all of the guys equally--I love their friendship, loyalty, honesty, and maybe I'm kinkier than I thought because I like how dominant they all are. The dominance does border on a little crazy, but, I think it's the power that comes across that is so delicious with these three. I'm really looking forward to the next book that tells Ash's story.
Hard to make the call on this one. He does all the male lead characters really well, but if I had to choose I enjoyed Gabe from the first book and equally enjoyed Jase in this one. His narration was better in Fever than in Rush.
Toward the end I wanted to cry because of what happened to Betheny and Jase's reaction it was heartwrenching.
Buyt it! Great book, and I am enjoying the series!
Curled up with a good book in my corner of the world on Sweet Grass Farm, it doesn't get any better than that!
Maya Banks never fails to strike the right balance in romance and erotica. I loved Fever, but it started out surprising me because I rather expected Jace and Ash to find a woman of their own to share and keep. However, this is not the case. This is Jace's love story and it's a great one. I won't give any more spoilers than that.
I will say that Adam Paul's narration completely nails Jace's character right down to the brooding, sexual intensity. The sex scenes are so hot, steam practically comes out the headphones. Adam Paul is fairly new to narrating books here, but I look forward to hearing more from him.
Yes, because I can have it read for extended periods of time rather than sitting down to read. The content was about the same. I like the unabridged much better in general.
I would say that her books are generally the same--love, sex, problem, problem solved, then marriage at the end. This one had a twist at the end, which kind of took my breath away.
Do not want to divulge because that might ruin it for others.
Romance in the wild.
This book is just a detailed pornographic how to be a submissive woman and her master. When it comes to romance books with adult themes, I listen and read female authors because I believe that women know what women like. This author proved me wrong. In the Breathless trilogy, as well as with the Sweet series, this author treat women as submissive, slaves to rough sex and being manhandled. I feel that these books are an insult to abused women and women in general. Also the language used by the characters, is a good example of how men speak in a trashy bar or by uneducated, crude men. I like lots of Ms. Banks other books, but Rush, Fever and Sweet Surrender are the worst books I have listened. They read like porno books written by a man. So if you like books that treat women as weak, idiots who cannot survive without a man spanking, insulting and physically and emotionally abusing them, then these books are for you.
Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
Excellent. I could not listen i one sitting though. I had to make a few pit stops alone the way. This way a Hot and Heavy story that i really loved. Perfect Narration and i can't wait for the 3rd book. Please hurry !!
